I have ordered 7 pieces meal, dark extra Krispy, I got white meat original, and among the 7 pieces, 2 where tiny wings.
Its all tasted like it was warmed up forever.

This place started strong. And I always find the staff very pleasant. However, the last 2x we have gotten the honey bbq chicken, instead of it being ON the chicken, as it’s presented in app and on TV, they just throw in the sauces in containers or, on my sandwich, there was a dab of honey bbq on it.
Not what I bought.
I really like the staff here, and I don’t like complaining. But if you pay for something, that’s what you should be getting.

Horrible service, I did an online order to assure it was ready for pickup by the time I got to the restaurant. Online it gave us the time it would be ready. I came to the restaurant 10 minutes after that time got my drinks and was told to pull around the front the food is almost ready. I waited around the front for an hour and still no food I went back around the drive thru and asked for my order the lady at the window was very rude and said I cannot wait for it at the window when there was no one else in the drive thru. I will not be giving this place my service again I spent $100 here for cold food and rude service. I wish I could give zero stars

If I could do Negative 5 Stars I would. I was on my way home from work and I decided to stop at the KFC at 290 East Main Street Port Jervis, NY. I saw on the order sign outside there was a taped paper that said the eight piece dark meat drumsticks and thighs special would be $20. I went ahead and ordered it, also bought eight piece nuggets and a side of coleslaw. I saw I did not get my receipt so I went back around and I got my receipt. My order came to $38.90. I saw that I was charged $25 but by that time I was almost home so I thought I would call when I get home and tell them that they made an error and I would like it to be corrected. So I get home and I call the number on the receipt it rings and rings and rings and rings and nobody picks it up. I tried again a couple of times and still no one picks up. So I decided to call the KFC in Middletown, NY to see if they can reach out to Port Jervis and let them know that someone is trying to call them. Middletown KFC also did not pick up their phone. So I called 1-800 call KFC. I made a complaint and no sooner had I gotten off the phone with them Port Jervis calls me. I spoke with a young lady and explained that the sign had said that the eight-piece dark drumsticks and thighs would be $20 for the special. So then the young lady says oh no we don’t have a special like that every day it is only on Tuesdays. I said again that the paper on the sign said it was $20. She reiterated again that it was not for today that is only on Tuesdays. I told her that is not on the sign. She tells me everyone knows that the deal is only on Tuesdays. At that point I told her I didn’t know. I said I would like to speak to your manager. She said I am the manager I told her fine I will call the corporate office again. I will never step foot in a KFC or go through their drive-thru ever again. To think they would be fine with losing a customer over $5 is absolutely ridiculous. I believe that the manager knew the sign did not say that it was only on Tuesdays And if that is the case, why didn’t they just send somebody out to take the sign down before someone came through the drive-thru. After all today is Thursday and that sign must have been up there at least since Tuesday since she said the deal was only for Tuesday. I will never ever order or purchase anything from KFC again.

I love KFC. Especially this location. Every time I order they are so kind during pickup. They are also very prompt, so I’m never waiting long during ordering or even picking up an order. I feel they have a vast selection and are always willing to do what they can to make sure you enjoy what you order even if it means subbing things in. I genuinely appreciate the workers here and the food. I come all the time and will continue to do so. Great staff and great vibes!

AVOID: Worst KFC I’ve ever been at.

Ordered online, they claimed they didn’t get my order, refused to do anything even though the money came out of my bank with their store attached to it with a time stamp. Manager said oh well dispute it with the bank and walked away, workers made snide comments thinking no one could hear, will never go back

This chicken tastes nothing like it should . I was excited to have a kfc in town . But it seriously has no flavor . So now I still drive to Middletown. Ugh wanted to be local . The chicken needs the recipe , they are missing something.

Claim a menu item, isn’t on the menu, when I read it off the menu in the drive thru. The ln provided the most overcooked product, was nearly inedible, nearly because at least the dog had the jaw strength to eat it. Receipt says I declined sauces, which I was never asked about.

Tried this place twice:

1. Food was accurate, but staff at counter didn’t speak full English and I didn’t know. I asked about a refill, she said sure, but then when I asked for one I couldn’t get one. The supervisor needed to step in and say she didn’t speak English and didn’t understand my original request. I had to fight with her to get to a store manager to give me a refill based on what the original staff had said.
2. The same supervisor served me, trying to deceive me by saying everything was in the bag when it wasn’t. When I checked the bag, she said she couldn’t fulfill my order based on corporate policy (if I had known that, I wouldn’t have ordered). Maybe not her fault, she did eventually fulfill my order (she claimed I had the same issue last time, but it was not the case at all), but again I needed to fight to get to it and the deceptiveness of “Let’s hope he doesn’t check the bag” was extremely unprofessional. In the mashed potatoes was a very large piece of fuzz – found in my mouth mid-bite. Absolutely disgusting.

I want to like this place – the atmosphere is greate, the food can be fantastic, and the manager (and yes even supervisor) is super-friendly – but between the lack of desire to serve the customer and unsanitary food I simply cannot recommend this location.

I’ll be reaching out to corporate (based on supervisor’s confirmed recommendation) and will post an update based on their response.
