I went to this KFC on Route 12 in Groton to get my lunch today. I went through the drive thru. While there, I purchased the Famous Bowl meal. It came with a bottle of water and a chocolate chip cookie.
It was pretty good, although I have had better at the East Windsor location. It was a little sloppy with the gravy.
The girl at the drive thru was pleasant. There was not a long wait, which was good for me.
I can’t comment in regards to the inside, however, it looked clean on the outside. When it comes to KFC, my top selections are the Famous Bowl and the Chicken Pot Pie. I also still like the original recipe chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and coleslaw… Classic!
I’ll definitely return to this location in the future…
The future is here. I went through the drive-through today, and instead of placing my order, I was informed the drive-through is closed, so I left without getting anything.

I ordered a pickup order through their app. It was missing all sauces and 1 item. I called and arranged to get the missing item and sauces. I already consider it annoying to have to go back, but I would have let that slide. When we got home, they had forgotten AGAIN to give us the missing item – the bag only had sauce. I called to complain AGAIN. I asked for the item to be refunded. The manager talked over me, saying he would make it fresh. When I tried to explain that i really just wanted a refund, he hung up on me. We did pick up the item. Third time’s the charm? I won’t be going back.

Lady at the speaker was horrible. I wanted to order an 8 pc nug with bbq sauce and a drink plus Mac n cheese and coleslaw, she asked me when I said I wanted an 8 pc nug if I wanted the meal so I said yes and when I was done ordering she said “40.48 come up” I was confused so just drove up to fix it and when I did go up she gave me the nastiest attitude turned to her coworker and loudly stated “I literally asked you” and so I paid for the right things and pulled up front as she asked me to. Waiting time was not long at all but when she came up to my car she had the nastiest attitude and just shoves it in my face and walks away. Never going back: horrible customer service.

2-3 mistakes, fine maybe they were busy or understaffed.
It’s my 4th attempts today, and their consistent bad service is no longer a surprise; with no straw, no honey/butter packs, big box stuffed in a small paper bag that rips, stale drinks and the sad looking chickens… Even though i live near i would rather drive to another kfc than visiting them again.
