We had to ask for napkins. Then she only gave us 1. Had to explain we were 2 people. She said she will get yelled at if she gives too many out. Tacos were ICE COLD. Then the lady at the window was complaining about customers right in front of us…wow. container of Mac side was extra tiny and not even 3 TBS. This is the KFC/Taco Bell located in Presque Isle Maine. This place is crazy busy at lunchtime seven days a week! We don’t get into town that often but when we do we try to stop by and get a treat. My daughter goes specifically for the chicken pot pies which if you don’t get there early I understand you don’t get one! The staff is great there and I wish that the customer showed better appreciation. The store is known for giving people with disabilities a job. They hire adults on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities and they treat them with respect and give them a chance to earn a living. I was surprised how people come in, customers, and are disrespectful if they have to repeat their order or go a little slower. The store is a model for inclusion.

Chicken is greasy but it’s standard KFC fare. Not a fan of the famous/mac bowls as they are full of starch and minimal chicken….the tenders are good but severely overpriced for what it is. Nuggets (new!) are mostly breading but honestly probably the best value. I’d rather get Governor’s fried chicken (it’s cheaper and tastes better) or Pizza Huts chicken bites…..again, cheaper and better taste. I like KFC once in a while, but it’s just not a value when they charge restaurant prices for fast food.

Most of the crew is awful and rude and you can clearly tell that no one wants to be there. The last several times we have gotten food here, almost half our food is either wrong or missing. My food was cold and not even half the normal amount that it should have been. I got a Mac and cheese bowl to share with my child and received cold mac and cheese and it was the amount that u would get in a small side and used a few extra pieces of chicken to hide the fact that there was hardly any mac and cheese, as well as the fact that my chicken tasted stale and like it was reheated.

I just love KFC! I try and get there whenever I’m Presque Isle. I don’t think I’ve ever had bad service there dining in or take out. I always get the original recipe with potatoes and gravy and a biscuit. I do recommend that people local and out of towners to stop in and have a bite. The whole menu is very good!

My first time trying a American KFC. The biscuits were amazing. The fries were so much better than the Canadian counterpart. Service was great, the food came fast and hot. So many more choices than our Canadian KFC.
