This was one of our first stops on the trolley tour, and it was also our first time trying conch fritters. The stand is located right outside the Key West Aquarium, and they make the fritters fresh to order. They were very hot. There are several sauces to choose from.

At the time, we had nothing to compare them to and thought they were pretty good. After trying conch fritters at a few other places, we realized these were just okay. There wasn’t much conch in them, and they seemed to be mostly batter.

Key West Conch Fritters was the perfect grab-and-go stop before sunset. The conch fritters were hot, crispy, and full of flavor, making them great to snack on while heading over to watch the sunset nearby. Super convenient, quick, and delicious. A great spot to grab something tasty and enjoy one of the best sunset views in Key West.

Really enjoyed these conch fritters! Just got back from the Bahamas and I would consider these right up there with some of the best I’ve had. Can’t remember the fellas’s name tall with gray hair, very personable made my day chatting with him.
The spicy mayo sauce was good!

absolutely disgusting service from Anne! we selected no tip on the credit card reader & attempted to look for an ATM inside the building behind them. unable to locate one we went back to grab our food & i was going to order an additional item specifically the key lime pie on a stick in order to tip her ! however she had a disgusting attitude , no longer wanted to look at or engage with us. Literally from the moment we selected no tip on the card reader! Another customer walked up beside us to pick up their order & she was so sweet and helpful to them and made it very clear how much she appreciated them & their tip! So I responded “is that what the shift in attitude is about , no tip?”! To which she responded yep to my husband & i and continued on with her disgusting attitude! The fact that we aren’t obligated to tip but wanted to tip in cash which is better for her just to be treated that way is an awful reflection of her & your company ! Tips are TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE & she was not deserving at ALL. Do better Anne & your tips will always reflect it !

We never had conch before and this place was highly recommended. The lady named Ann explained what a conch fritter was and cooked it fresh for us. I am a retired fire fighter and 9/11 survivor I thought that it was amazing that the lady acknowledged that and offered me a discount. After a nice conversation I told her to keep the change and she refused insisting she was thankful for my service. Thankful for the excellent fresh made food & great service!

This is an awesome little stand. The guy was very friendly. The key lime pie on a stick was good, but the key lime limeade was awesome. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to walk by again without getting another.

Love their conch fritters, and eat next to the fountain outside the aquarium. There 100% my go to in the late morning after an evening of adult beverages, the perfect amount or carbs and grease to feel better. For a quick bite to eat on the west end, grab a few conch fritters with the spicy mayo (the right way to serve them like they do in the Bahamas, not with cocktail sauce like everyone here tries to serve them with) and the key lime mustard sauce.
