Kewpee is like a little trip back in time. They are such a quaint hamburger shop, and the food has been consistently delicious for decades. Their fish sandwich is a generous flakey and moist filet, golden fried to perfection. The hamburgers were my favorite but sadly, with alpha-gal allergy, they are a no-no for me. Just smelling the wonderful aroma was a treat, though. The fries were hot and crispy. Some family members had the chili and loved it. Kewpee is an Ohio treasure!

As always, incredible food. I went for my usual lunch – Double cheeseburger and a double large soda, but added fries this time. Just wish we got more for our money on the fries, but definitely can’t go wrong on the rest. If you’re in Lima, this is a must try! So many outside of Lima don’t know about this place, but should!

I remember eatting here as a kid with my grandparents so when my friends and I were about 20 minutes away I made sure to stop in. The food is amazing! The meat is so fresh you have to try it! We all wanted to get a burger to go but it was late. I wish they were closer.

These are the best classic cheeseburgers you will find anywhere. I love the fresh-ground, locally-raised, perfectly cooked beef patties. Sitting between a soft bun, melty cheese, and choice of condiments. 1 is never enough, get a double! The fries, pies, and everything else are good too. Service is fast in the drive-thru or in restaurant. You will be craving these burgers.

The food was okay. Pie is better than average. Idk how long Kewpee was at this location but it needs to be updated. They need to make it where they have at least SOME chairs you can pull out or booths you can adjust so you can sit comfortably. Places like happy Daz can do it. Also the restroom need to be updated. Toilets seem to be outdated and if you are over 5 foot 4 you’ll probably accidentally knock the stall door open bc you don’t have room to use the toilet.

Chili had no hamburger and no beans, only greasy tomato juice. Another in our party got frozen strawberry yogurt which was delicious, but when I went back up to get some, they were out so got chocolate malt which wasn’t that great.

I’m an out of town visitor from near Detroit and originally from Fremont, OH. It’s a classic old school burger joint that somewhat reminds me of big boy… But if big boy were a glorified fast food chain planted in the heart of a small town with low quality or chain restaurant food throughout.
The people in Lima are great, unfortunately, Kewpee is not. I waited 6 months to visit after countless of my customers in the area insisted I go. The food is a 1/5 but the nostalgia of our old America elevates it to a 2/5. Go to a real restaurant and eat some real food.. unless nostalgia is enough for you to fill your stomach on.
