This is a great local coffee house with an upbeat atmosphere, cheerful employees, laid back decor, a small foodie gift shop, and multiple seating options. Their lemon poppy seed muffin was generous and tasty, but their pistachio blood orange latte (Julia’s Favorite Latte) stole the show.

The shop is beautiful! It was our first time as we were in town catering an event. The coffees were excellent, the service was quick and efficient, but could have been friendlier. My friends scone was great but my muffin was completely raw in the middle, which was a shame as it would have been delightful otherwise. We got it to go so I didn’t know until we were on the roads and I bit into it.

We both really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The food was good along with the Chai we got. There’s also a space where you can buy teas, coffee, mugs and other miscellaneous items. The staff was also friendly/nice. I would recommend this as a must stop if you are looking for a coffee shop vibe (and good food/tea/coffee).

I absolutely love coffee, so this was an amazing find in this quant little town. The coffee was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was even better! I could have stayed here all day! My only regret was that I didn’t have any food. The dishes I saw looked sooo appetizing. Both the drink and food menu were quite unique. I would go there everyday if I didn’t live 9 hrs away

This coffee shop would be a welcome addition to many bigger towns and it was a delight to find on our trip – recommended by the team coach. We enjoyed a quick lunch there. Busy but staff seemed unflustered and upbeat. Food was excellent and filling, coffee was great and love the big mugs. My 6yr old went back to the counter to ask for onions for her kids grilled cheese and was met with a kind greeting and brought a plate of fresh sliced red onion. You made her day with that. Great ambiance and great staff, good food and drink. Highly recommend.

When in Calumet, Keweenaw Coffee Works is a must stop. We grabbed lunch and we had some amazing sandwiches soup and toastiest. Their coffee and teas are just wonderful and we grabbed a bag to take back to the cabin. And their brownies are life changing! Make this a stop when in the Keweenaw!
