First time trying this place,
I was looking for a good and authentic Korean meals flavors around Edison. A friend of mine recommended me this place.
Ordered Galbi tang soup – tender short ribs with sliced radish in beef broth, it also came with rice noodle in the soup (posted a pic of the menu where I ordered from, FYi normally galbi tang is not spicy, in the pic it looked red because I asked for it and they made as per my request)

Also came with a lot of side dishes (9 of them) as seen in the pic. They’re mushroom, cucumber salad, cauliflower, korean kimchi, green cabbage, sweet sour tomato, white radish, seasoned potato (under white radish), sliced fish cake (it’s kinda taste like it’s grilled I love the flavor of this)

Btw the last pic of the soup is when I half finished it, love the broth so much. Also as an Southeast Asian their spicy to me is not spicy at all.

Food was good, Staff were friendly, I had good meal, the only minus is it’s too pricey for a meal. Galbi tang itself cost $22.95 with tax $25.33 and with tip $28.87, I don’t know but for only myself a meal almost $30 is too much. I will probably will be back but once awhile if I am really craving it and if I got no other choice.

Hope this review of mine helps 🙂

Great Dim sum! My favorite was the pork buns and the roasted duck but everything we ate was awesome!

People from the block (particularly Koreans) know that this is one of the last remaining authentically Korean places in the area. Though prices may be high, the experience, the flavors, the side dishes, and the services are as authentically Korean as you can get without frills or pomp.

Meatheads will also know that the meat is also very good quality, I think it’s the best quality korean barbecue in the area and is the only one I’d go to. Consistently. I think the owner has a good eye for selecting cuts of beef

Kumho Garden is a great spot for both grilled pork and beef. While the BBQ is solid,
I highly recommend their Gamjatang (pork bone soup)—it is honestly better than any other place I’ve tried.
The restaurant also has a very spacious parking lot, which makes visiting hassle-free. One thing to note: if you ask them to grill the meat for you separately, it can arrive at the table a bit cold. I wouldn’t recommend this during the winter months.
Also, while they serve several side dishes, I feel the selection could be a bit more flavorful and varied to really stand out from the competition.

Decided to try this place for the first time with my husband while we were in the area but unfortunately i will not be back again. The resturant is very cold when it is the middle of January and there is snow outside. People enjoy escaping the heat and finding solitude in a nice and comfy restaurant but I guess restaurant forgot to turn on the heat. The menu was overpriced for im use to paying and geting at other Korean restaurants. Second when I was ordering the food, the waiter had an attitude when I was asking questions about the menu. When the food came, the waiter was not attentive at all and it was hard to just get a refill on drinks. When they did come, it was like they were haphazardly and rushing everything. The next time we saw them is when they dropped off the bill. However, there never came back around to pick up our payment. We eventually got fed up and went to find them ourselves.
The best thing about KBBQ is not only the food but the service that you experience. I definitely feel that this restaurant is severely lacking in customer service skills. Would not recommend

Food is kinda expensive but still pretty decent. I would recommend the triple beef combo over the beef combo because only 1 of the beef options in the beef combo tasted really good, the others were pretty basic. The side dishes are all really good.

Super recommend buying their homemade kimchi on sale in the front refrigerators, I can’t eat the commercial made kimchi from h-Mart anymore because of how good it is.

Simple, great food & owners! A ton of yummy banchan as well. We bought samjang and kimchi from this establishment as they were priced well and nothing beats homemade.

I love this place! The people are very friendly and the food is fantastic and full of Korean flavors. They cook the meat at your table on hot coals! There are only a few Korean places left that will cook using this method at your table and it makes all the difference in the world! This is a must if you like Korean food! The Resturant is also BYOB!
Enjoy!

Nice location with easy parking. Good food, decent service, good music playing in the background. Really enjoyed the spicy squid bibimbap. Impressed by the number of side dishes you’re given. Seems like a good spot for regulars. The folks working are efficient but not too chatty!

Now for my standard comments. Interior is pretty clean and seating is good.

Some of the best Korean BBQ I’ve had in NJ, and much more convenient than going to Koreatown in Manhattan. Casual atmosphere with delicious food.
