We stumbled upon Kesushi by pure chance — and what a *delicious* surprise it turned out to be! We’ve tried plenty of Latin-fusion sushi spots before, and I’ve only ever had one favorite… *until today*. Now I officially have a new Top 2!
The flavors here are on point. The yuca balls were absolutely amazing — crispy on the outside, filled with gooey melted cheese, and that aioli? *Uff*, the perfect finishing touch.
We tried the **Kesushi Roll**, made with shrimp tempura, spicy crab, and mofongo — it was *so* fresh and full of flavor. Even the tempura was perfectly crisp, not greasy at all, just right.
Then we had the **Latin Heat Roll** — imagine mofongo, fried cheese, pork belly, and shrimp in a creamy shrimp sauce all rolled into sushi. It’s like sushi and mofongo had a baby, and it’s divine! The crunch of the pork belly with the soft mofongo and that sauce? *Next-level*.
Service was excellent, and the place was peaceful and spacious. The only thing is that the location is a bit hidden, not super visible from the road — but *trust me*, if you’re reading this: GO! Don’t think twice. Support this local spot. You won’t regret it.
They’ve earned us as loyal regulars.
Not only was their plating like something you would find at a 5-star restaurant, but everything tasted amazing. They make it all from scratch, and you can really taste the freshness of each ingredient with every bite.
I’ve spent $80 at expensive sushi restaurants before and left starving. But with a bill less than $15, I was stuffed after their extremely satisfying Ke’Sushi hand roll and crab rangoons.
If you love Latin or Asian food or appreciate a good fusion, you need to try this place! They somehow combine the cuisines perfectly in the most harmonious way.
I can’t say enough about Ke’Sushi. You really need to check them out for yourself.
Ordered and waited a bit but was worth every bite.
The Caribbean Fire roll was packed with flavor you’d expect from big restaurants.
I can see them growing to a full blown restaurant if they keep the same taste and quality.
Edit: My review was based on Sunday October 12th. I appreciate the response although I was not mistaken to where I had lunch.
