Really solid breakfast choice! It’s New Year’s Day and my wife and I were hungry, so we came in. They had a 20-minute wait, understandable since it’s a holiday. My wife ordered the breakfast combo and I got the potato omelette. Both arrived quick, hot, and were delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and took nice care of us.
All and all, a good experience! Would come again!

We did go on a Sunday and expected a church crowd but was not too bad when we got there at 10 but when we left there was a long wait. This resultant is very loud and the acoustics are terrible. The server had difficulties hearing us and we had to repeat ourselves several times. It was my mom and I and we started with the birthday cake latte. They were good but very pricey:$13 each. It was not worth that cost. I got the avocado toast with sweet potato medley and ordered one beignet pancake on the side. My mom got the lemon poppy seed French toast. My meal was delicious but my pancake did not come out with my food. I asked about it and the server that brought our food was not the same server who took our order so they said they would get it. After waiting about 10 mins we flagged it several times and he apologized and said we would check on it. He came by our table again to take our plates and said he will check on the pancake. It did come out a few minutes later. It was very good.
My mom’s meal in the other hand was not. The French toast was very dry and she was not able to eat it.
My mom’s has been here before and always enjoyed her meal. She was excited to take me there. There is one in San Antonio where I live and I will try them again to give them another chance.

Love this Austin staple! Can conveniently join the waitlist. For larger parties like ours, we were able to call ahead. Cora was friendly and attentive. She also anticipates your needs. Seasonal menus. Delicious food and lots of great options. Highly recommended and will return.

Yesterday morning was a crazy one so, I had to drop by Kerbey Lane Cafe to pick up a “to-go order” for breakfast. Despite being in a hurry my experience was great! Genine, the GM, and Ashlynn were both super friendly and on top of everything. They made sure my order was ready quickly and exactly right. Even though I was just in and out, they were very welcoming and everything went smoothly! Really appreciate the great service!

I’ve had Kerbey Lane before but it had been awhile! Went on a weekday during brunch time and had a slight wait (10min) but not bad at all. I ordered the veggie burger which was pretty good. The other person at my table ordered pancakes and they enjoyed everything. The service was great and the food was pretty good.

Kerbey Lane is well deserving of its reputation as one of the gems of the restaurant industry in Austin. The food left nothing lacking, the servers are attentive and knowledgeable. Special mention: I didn’t catch his name, but my server has only been serving for two weeks and he was a pro. Kudos, young man!

My fiance and I had a wonderful brunch here today, there was a bit of a wait time but it was expected (arrived around 11am, roughly a 15-20 minute wait) but after we were seated (outside, it was a beautiful day) our waiter Gilberto T took excellent care of us! I had the vegan breakfast platter and my fiance had a double patty burger and fries (forgot to take pics because the food was too good we dug right in. Gilberto made us feel very welcome and seen, kept our drinks refilled, and even offered a to-go for us! Overall sitting outside was lovely, not too loud, and it added to a lovely experience.
