If you are a pancake fan you HAVE to come here. The pancakes (regular buttermilk were my favorite) are so stinkin good. definitely the best pancakes I have eaten from a restaurant. I have to also give a shout out to the breakfast potatoes. Mmm Mmm Mmm they were nice and crispy and had great flavor.

The location is easy to find. The location is just a few minutes off I35 and adjacent to the Texas State campus. The parking is ample. The staff is friendly. The building is historical and well maintained. The view by the window and on the patio is quiet and peaceful. We were there for a late breakfast on a Friday morning and did not have a wait. Both breakfasts were appetizing to the eye and the taste buds. The drip coffee was excellent.
