Reviews
The Malabar prawns curry was really good — rich and flavorful.
The aloo paratha was also very good, soft and well-spiced.
The plain rice was simple and perfectly cooked.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size.
Overall, a good spot for Indian/Kerala food with reliable service and tasty dishes. Would recommend!
We used to be big fans when Kerali first opened but when a complaint is made (in private) they don’t seem to understand about customer service.
We didn’t say anything the last time we were also disappointed about portion size and after their response this evening in private trying to justify the portion and eventually that “next time we will do better”, there will be no next time and I wanted to warn others.
UPDATE FOLLOWING THE RESPONSE BELOW.
It is extremely evident that you do not understand what customer service or private feedback is. We did address this privately and directly with you before posting this review – but YOU chose not to “address” the issue and only gave push back. The pieces shown in the photos were the size of a lady’s fingertip. Not only that but the significant difference in portion size is also evident in the photo below.
Following your extremely rude mannerisms, and abominable customer service, we will now not only not return but we will also spread the word. We live locally. Good luck.
We’ve been eating there consistently for maybe a little over 2 years now, dine in, take out, you name it, we’ve had it. We are always welcomed so warmly, the food is always delicious and yes, waiting time can be a little long sometime but it is so worth it. We took so many people there to eat and it’s always the same outcome : everyone is happy. Good food takes time, as says the sign in the restaurant 🙂 To me, hands down the BEST indian restaurant in Mauritius.
To anyone wanting to try, ignore the negative comments and go experience it for yourself
Thank you for always feeding us amazing food
Service time is around 30 minutes and the food was simply mind blowing and almost everything is priced accordingly.
The prawn 65 is a must to have!
Overall highly recommended and will definitely visit them again
The menu varies greatly from typical restaurants in Europe, and really shows off some of the stars from both North and South India.
Everything is cooked fresh to order, so make sure you have plenty of time and relax with a cold beer whilst it is being prepared – you won’t be disappointed.
The staff are extremely friendly, and whilst communication wasn’t always the easiest, it was all done with the biggest smiles..!
Thank you for some great memories.
