Amazing dosas, delicious kadala curry, and so many standout dishes on the menu.

If you’re a true food lover in Lisbon, this Kerala restaurant is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the calm and pleasant atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was exceptional—staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine they serve. But the real star here is the food. Every dish was bursting with authentic South Indian flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and fresh ingredients. The seafood curry and Malabar paratha were especially outstanding, reminding me of the vibrant tastes of Kerala itself. Whether you’re a fan of spicy delicacies or mild vegetarian fare, there’s something here for everyone. It’s rare to find a place that excels in food, service, and ambiance equally—but this gem of a restaurant delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of India in the heart of Lisbon. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Having grown up in South India, eating food from Kerala almost every other weekend, I can attest that the food was authentic, tasty and comforting. I’ve brought many friends here, and they have all left with a smile on their face, and their bellies full. It is on the more expensive side, but the portions are well worth it. It’s a blessing to my bank account that they do not serve Appams, for I would probably frequent this place more often.
I would recommend the Lamb Coconut Curry, Chicken Chettinad, Malabar Parotta, Dosa, or Kadala Curry.

Kerala Restaurant in Lisbon is an excellent place for authentic Kerala food. We tried porotta, beef curry, ghee roast and fish pollichathu, and all of them tasted very close to traditional home style Kerala dishes. The porotta was soft and flaky, the beef curry was rich and flavorful, and the fish pollichathu was perfectly cooked with fresh spices. Nothing felt altered or toned down for tourists. Highly recommended if you are traveling in Portugal and miss real Kerala food.

Heart is full! That sums up my experience at the Kerala restaurant. The menu and ambiance is so authentic and took me back home. I ordered Parotta and Beef Varutharachath and it was indeed as tasty as we get in Kerala. The Chef also took his time out to come and talk to me and it was indeed comforting to speak my mother tongue after a while. I saw Chef diligently asking feedback from other customers too which was something great to see.
Overall, loved the experience and will definitely visit again when I come back to Lisbon next time.

We were truly excited to visit this Kerala restaurant after seeing its name and menu. Being originally from Kerala, just the thought of a place carrying the same essence of home instantly brought back warm memories — and the experience did not disappoint.
We started with sambharam, paripuvada and chicken 65 followed by a masala dosa. The masala dosa was exceptionally delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.
It was honestly difficult to choose what to order next because we wanted to try everything! We eventually settled on porotta with chicken varatharachu curry. And of course, being a hardcore biriyani fan, I had to order the chicken biriyani. It was aromatic, well-balanced, and packed with the kind of flavor that instantly reminded me of home. Every bite was comforting and satisfying.
For dessert, we tried the unniyappam with panchamritham — a unique and delightful combination that felt both nostalgic and new at the same time. A beautiful way to end the meal.
Overall, the food was incredibly authentic, comforting, and delicious. We enjoyed every morsel and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone craving a true taste of Kerala!

Authentic flavours, thin crispy long dosa with original flavours of chutnies, the potato filling was really delicious classic and tempting. Service is very friendly, Kulwinder seems to be a gentleman with positive attitude. Prices are genuine, menu speaks for itself, good selection of drinks and good location. Overall restaurant vibe is great, it was my first time here and I would love to visit again with my family and friends

Best Dosa in the city, not much in terms of ambience. Despite being not so busy, the service was non-existent. Should sit indoors if you need attention at times. Shall go back again, though. Must end your meal with their filter coffee.

The food was tasty and you will get the similar keralite food taste. Highly recommended. The price is affordable and varies upon the dishes you order. Some of the dishes were ok for 2 person so check with the team regarding the quantity.
