We had a group of 9 for dinner outside last night. Overall the experience was very good – we found a spot that had some shade and it wasn’t too warm outside. We got seated right away and our server was great. She was engaged, attentive and came back plenty of times to keep glasses full.
Music was supposed to start at 7:00 but we left a little after 8:00 and it still wasn’t going – not sure what they were waiting.
The worst part of the experience was the food. Nothing terrible but also nothing remarkable which was disappointing given the limited menu. If you’re going to have such a small menu it should all be excellent.

Started with a DJ playing all the dance hits, then the Beef Tacos & Fish&Chips with sweet potato fries! Great vibe! Great food! Great music! Getting free chips and salsa is a bonus!

It’s a shame this used to be a good restaurant a couple of years ago. We came back and order the fish and chips and a salad. We were not expecting a salad that look like a side plate for a taco. The fish were three hard smelly free frozen fish wedges. The first bite and it did not taste fresh at all. We were going to complain to the manager for owner but nobody would come back to the service us. They were too busy handing out alcohol to worry about their food customers. Do not go there expecting good seafood just because it’s on a lake. We made that mistake. As far as atmosphere goes they had wasp traps all over the place One customer at the bar was run off by wasps. You can see the wasps trying to get to the alcohol. TVs all over the place, but apparently they don’t have cable because none of the TVs were on. And nothing else going on. They got my order wrong and the two Mexican server and whatever the other guy was we’re arguing about it. We will not be back.

Food was amazing! I had the fish sandwich with slaw. Fish was PERFECTLY cooked!! Veggies fresh, their Tiki sauce so good I asked for extra! My guy had the burger and fries and was also happy. Had 2 mixed drinks that were tasty and had a kick. Sat at the bar and Matty was a joy! You can drive up in your boat if that’s your thing. We came concerned from recent mixed reviews, but are very glad we did.

Great fish tacos!! I live in the area and have seen the changes over the years. While I miss some of the older menu items, the new ones are fantastic. The outdoor area is comfortable and shaded, and all the new little touches add to the chill energy of the place. Nice work guys!
