Sweet Jesus I love this place. I stop by every time I’m in Frankfort and have something amazing to eat and drink. The staff are wonderful. My photos do not do these biscuits justice. The little cinnamon buns are heaven.

Great vibe from the staff. I had questions and the lady answered and made me want to order everything from the menu! Loved the cozy feel. Only one weird dude but I think he was a customer, but never the less that did not take away from the cool feel in there. Definitely must come back!

This place looks adorable from the outside and has so much potential, but it was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting and the dining area looked like a goodwill. My husband’s roast beef on his sandwich couldn’t be chewed, but instead of a profuse apology and a new sandwich they told him they couldn’t make him a new sandwich or even a new half of a sandwich. They offered only a partial refund for the sandwich to fix the issue. Look, things happen and that’s fine, but the service here is horrendous, especially when it cost us $45 dollars to eat here (two adults and a 3 year old). We went around the block to Main Street Diner to get my husband some food after we left and I wish we had started out there.

I have been a long time patron of this establishment, and can highly recommend. Anyone that has ever asked me what living in downtown Frankfort is like, my go to reply is “Go have a drink at the Kentucky Coffee Tree Cafe downtown.”. Any negative reviews you see here are from folks in a rush from out of town trying to keep up with an itenary for an expensive bourbon tour. Speed isn’t the vibe at this location, especially if you don’t say the magic words. “HELLO AND PLEASE” If you can master that, you will learn more from the regular patrons here then Google will ever tell you. Not to mention, phenomenal coffee drinks, sandwiches, world class specialty soups, and the very best Cocktails including the best Margarita in Frankfort. I don’t hand out praise lightly, check my reviews. Must Stop Spot while in Frankfort. Just remember the magic words…….

The people behind the counter were so rude I didn’t feel welcome or comfortable along with all of my other employees. We were working right beside it and it was the closest place to get coffee or I wouldn’t of went there. The last day of our job I got a quiche which I luv and it wasn’t good I took 1 bite gave it away later tht night and a sausage biscuit it was hard idk I hate giving bad reviews and hoped the attitudes of how the employees wuld change and a whole week same dry rude customer service! Hope it gets better

Decent breakfast option. We had a few of the baked goods, egg sandwich, and a drink. Food was all good. Service was friendly. My only thing of note is the kitchen area is on full display, and it looked like a meal rush had just happened while a delivery was being made. Might have been just the wrong time on the wrong day. I’d go again next time we are in town through.

Love this place!!! The folks there are wonderful, the coffee is great and the food is really good. You might say yeeeah, but how are the soups??? The soups are to die for!!!! If there is a curried soup on the menu for the day, it’s a no brainer!!!
