Locally owned coffee shop, serving gourmet, hand-crafted coffee freshly roasted weekly by Quills Coffee in Louisville, Ky. Non-espresso items available, including Matcha and Chai tea, fruit smoothies and Italian sodas. Fresh baked pastries available. Not sure what to order? No problem. You can sample four drinks when you order a flight. KentJava Bar has become known as the community gathering place where guests and locals can chill with friends, meet with clients, read a book or have quiet study time in our upstairs seating area. Occasionally, guests will share their talent and pick a few tunes on the guitar that is hanging on the wall, or play a board game with their friends.

You know those days that get started and for some reason your normal coffee routine just doesn’t happen? Anyone else relate to this feeling? Well iykyk…. I was having this very kind of morning and randomly without any prompting or searches I happened to look up and saw this shop. My husband asked (pleaded) for us to go so I could get a restart to this day. It worked…. what an amazing caramel latte. Coffee was strong, flavor was smooth, service was casual and welcoming, atmosphere was comforting and relaxed.

The ladies in here were willing to create a Chai Latte for me that followed the regular latte seasonal flavor. It was delicious. They were all smiles and super friendly while taking care of us. My husband enjoyed his Carmel coffee Latte. We will be back.

This is a great little place! Awesome atmosphere – great to come and do some reading or work. It’s quiet and the coffee is delicious! I had one of their new Cinnamon French Toast Latee’s and I could probably drink this all day. It’s great! Very well done! I’ll definitely be back here next time I come through town.

What a cute little coffee place. We came here for my sister‘s baby shower and it was such an artistic and creative atmosphere, all of the workers were super nice and helpful. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with a shot of espresso and it was amazing. The upstairs is a great place to host small events.

Super space. I felt welcome the minute I walked in ,lovely staff. If your driving through and need a place for a great cup of coffee and to work on your computer this is the stop. Seems like a wonderful vibe to chill with friends. And of course don’t forget to wink at shaggy above the door on the way out!
