The Kent Island Pub is now the Kent Island Bar and Grill. The new owners seriously upgraded, opened up the windows and now the restaurant is fantastic!! I had the Prime Rib (Friday and Saturday Only) and my wife Deb enjoyed the Herb Roasted Salmon. Chef Otis is back in the kitchen but found time to come out and speak with us…awesome! The food was excellent, the atmosphere cozy and the staff went above and beyond. Hats off to Heather (co owner)…really cool and our server Laney…best of the best! We had a great dining experience here today and recommend you give them a try!

Our friends urged us to give this new place a try and boy are we glad we did. We tried it when it was Island Pub and didn’t care for the atmosphere. The new owners have made it a more comfortable spot to enjoy a good meal and drinks.
The burgers are amazing (try the Big Blue Burger – you won’t be sorry) and the wings are the best in town. We love going here and are excited to have a locals’ spot to enjoy.

My daughter and I go here often as part of our MOTHER/DAUGHTER day tradition. The drinks are always perfection and the food is delicious. We LOVE the caprese flatbread and their coconut shrimp!!! Customer service was great too. Very friendly and upbeat. Perfect match for us! If you haven’t tried this place… please do!!!

We met the head chef Drew as he came to our table to talk to us after we told our waitress to give him our compliments. We will definitely be going back again.

My new FAVORITE go to place. Love everything about it! The service, the decor, and of course the food is top notch. We are definitely big fans and try to go once a week – it’s sooooo good. The shrimp, chicken sandwich, hamburger and cheesecake are dynamite! Everyone is so nice and the owners are so thoughtful and involved to make your experience the best! Food was excellent. Best way of putting it is everything actually had flavor. For example, had a Breakfast burger. The egg was cooked perfectly, burger was well seasoned, bun was toasted, and there was a delicious spicy jam spread. Excellent French onion soup as well.

I used to come here often when it was Luke’s Grill and Island Pub, so this was my first visit since it became Kent Island Bar & Grill. A friend and I stopped in on a Sunday and accidentally seated ourselves, not realizing the person who came over to greet us was actually the owner. He asked how many were in our party, brought us waters, and let us know our server would be right with us.
After catching up for a bit, we realized no one had come to take our order yet. The bartender quickly noticed, came right over, and took care of us. He apologized, and so did the servers on shift and the owner.
As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I truly appreciated how everyone handled the situation. They went above and beyond what I expected, showed genuine kindness, and made sure we had a great experience. A good reminder to always give people grace.
Food was delicious, drinks were even better, service was outstanding.

Absolutely love the new atmosphere of this place! It’s a cozy family friendly place with really delicious food options and the staff is super friendly as well. The Friday night prime rib special was just delicious plus both the French onion and cream of crab soups really hit the spot for us!
