Best part of my trip to Jackson. Got the rib tips lunch special and added the garlic green beans as a side. Even with the added side, it was super affordable and would have been worth it for far more than I paid.
Staff is super friendly and attentive. I will say the place seems to be pretty busy at lunch so plan accordingly!

First time eating here and it won’t be my last. I wish I had a photo but the food looked so good I dived right in. If you love BBQ this is worth it. Everything was delicious. I had the trash ribs with brisket chili and green beans. Let’s just say they did not disappoint. See you soon!

Don’t go to another smoked meats place. Their fatty brisket was mwah chef kiss delicious. Real banana pudding made with real whipped cream not cool whip crap. Real sides not frozen and reheated sides.

Went for lunch here a couple of days ago. The servers were both very nice. Restaurant was basically empty and pretty awkwardly arranged. I ordered a two meat plate and a drink. When the food came out I was pretty disappointed in the portions. They gave me 4 very small thin slices of brisket and 2 ribs. Both were pretty dry and honestly tasted like they may have been from the day before. The star was the mac and cheese which was delicious. The potato salad was bland. By the time you added tax and a tip it was $30 for an extremely mediocre lunch. I can eat lunch twice in decent places for that money, so I expected a lot more than what I received.

The best BBQ in Jackson. It’s very flavorful with great portions at a reasonable price point. It’s busy at lunch time so come early to enjoy or order online and take it back to the office.

This place is THE best place to eat on Lakeland. I’ve been here a couple times now and everything is spot on. That white BBQ sauce is better than any other BBQ I’ve ever had. I’d put this on a grilled cheese if I had one. Phenomenal food.

I got the pulled pork sandwich to go. They have a selection of smoked meats. They have a choice of 5 barbecue sauces, from Texas style to Carolina style. Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful.
