I stopped here on the way home from the Mayo Clinic, with my friend for lunch. This place is cute, cozy, and the staff are so incredibly friendly. My friend had the vegetable beef stew which she said it was delicious, and I had their chicken fried steak- which was also delicious. I like to try new restaurants when I travel(especially restaurants that aren’t local to me), and I’m glad we picked this place for lunch. I’ll definitely come back to try more of their menu, when I’m in the area.

Wife loves this place and the fried pickles. She had the beer battered shrimp. She liked them. I had the walleye dinner, could definitely tell it was frozen before but it was still nice. Coleslaw was spot on. Calamari was 4/10. Was expecting rings, not something that resembled cheese sticks. Flavor did not even come close to real Calamari. All in all, we will go back for something different than what we got today. Love the atmosphere and the small town feeling.

We love Kenny’s. I wish they would allow me to substitute a side of meat for all the hashbrowns and toast since if you buy them as sides they cost more than a couple sausage patties by a good couple bucks but all they will let you substitute is more carbs like fruit. But still one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always good and generally they know how to cook eggs over medium properly.

Sadly, we do not get to visit Austin as much as we like, but this has always been a restaurant my husband and I love to eat at. The food is absolutely amazing–we have never had a bad meal. Not to mention the raspberry french toast is something I am always wanting just one more bite of. Whenever our family travels to Rochester, we try to make it a point to drive into town to stop here to eat. It is one of my top places to enjoy a meal. Not only is the food delicious and homemade, but the atmosphere is calm and welcoming with many fun unique wall hangings that bring you back in time.

This is one of the best breakfast place in Austin Minnesota. We had one attitude lunch, one beer batterd chicken with two drinks. Everything was yummy. Their hash browns was really very good.

Service was excellent! The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is definitely a neighborhood restaurant and It has a old-timey-family feel to it. The menu is massive and makes me think it’s less fresh with how much they have to offer. I would go back, this has great comfort food. The atmosphere was dusty and dim but I loved the decor.

My mom grew up in Austin, and she used to love coming here before she passed. She had dementia. The last time I went to Kenny’s with her I stepped aside and explained it to the waitress. She was so accommodating and understanding and went out of her way to help my mom, and make her experience pleasant and enjoyable. I will never forget it. Thank you.

Local diner in Austin, serving great breakfast items. Lunch and dinner menu available as well at certain times. Too bed I wasn’t in town long enough to come back and try those. They have several spam dishes that did not disappoint. Service was slow. Definitely not in a hurry. But overall, my colleagues and I had a great experience. Would definitely go back.

Amazing old school diner. Food was beyond amazing. Service was incredible. Located a couple of blocks from the SPAM museum. Deep fried SPAM appetizer was awesome. Burgers were huge. Great place. Great food. Great service. Very reasonably priced.

WOW! We drove over to visit the Spam museum and we decided to stay for lunch…so happy we chose Kenny’s, the food was amazing! To start we had the spam beer battered, and onions rings for an appetizer. Clunkers, fried shrimp, friend chicken, hamburger and a spam melt for our meal. Service was amazing. We even got a whole pecan pie to go! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town! Thank you!
