Amazing! Truly amazing. This place has incredible INCREDIBLE quality food and beer. Seriously mind blowing how they can pump out food like this in seemingly the middle of nowhere. Be prepared for a cute dog to greet you and a very family friendly vibe. Workers and customers all having fun. I LOVE this place and am so happy. Just passing through but we will be back again!

This was a cute little diner to eat at. We were greeted and entertained by the owners sweet dog, who laid down right next to our table. At one point, he fell asleep under my wife’s chair. From the outside, you wouldn’t think it is what it is as all other shops next to it look closed and / or abandoned.
UPDATE:ONE YEAR LATER_VISIT #2
we took rhe grandkids here for a lunch out after going to see the dam. I’m APPALLED at this places prices nowadays; for everything he had. I dont recall a single main item being anything under $15. That’s outrageous!!!. I got the prime dip. It was good. I got tater tots with it. But it surely was NOT worth no $15. My wife’s sandwich she got was also $15 or $16, nothing special, a sandwich, and curley fries. Each of the kids got cheeseburgers and _curley fries $15 EACH. drinks are $2 and is a pop can. Not even in a cup with icethough he did pull the cans out of a refrigerator. I told the guy I’d possibly be back in a few months when we are back that way for Labor Day weekend.._on hind sight_ I think NOT!
NOTHING really wrong with the place or the atmosphere or the cute doggie that greets you; my dip sandwich bread was slightly burned on the bottom, making the bread extra crispy, but it wasn’t that bad. I’m simply appalled at the prices that he is charging.
This last time for laborday weekend we went. I noticed his menue was smaller wich wasn’t a bad thin%. Just les to have to look at. This time we got cold sodas (in a cam) but we also got ice waters which had ICE. once I was done with my water, I poured my sofa into the cup of leftover ice. Prices still the same.
Took some friends here July 2025.still the sane; same cure doggie comes to greet you.kids love the dog and the dog loves kids. I get the prime dip as usual. Same sodas in can, barely cold with no cup or ice_ unless you get a pitcher of icewater.
I did have to use the lavetory. OMG; the stench of sewer_ grey water is putrifying in mens bathroom.

Stopped in with my kiddos, who were getting cranky in the car so we decided it was dinner time. They immediately put out a high chair and made me feel so comfortable being a traveling mom is not easy and to feel so welcomed and supported was great. I will be taking the kids again for sure! My kids loved their chicken strips and fries.

CHICAGO GIRL APPROVED! We were road tripping from Montana to our home on the Olympic Peninsula here in Washington, and stumbled across this Cafe being the only food on Highway 2. After looking at reviews, we decided to give it a chance.

I am super skeptical about restaurants because normally I leave disappointed, however, upon getting here, it was the kindest bunch of people working, and the owner was a sweetheart.

I ordered a Cheeseburger, and it was the best burger I have had in YEARS. Being from Chicago, I have a bit of a snobby palette because I grew up with good food, but the burger and quality of my food was worth every penny and thensome! The owner also had his wife make my son Noah a grilled cheese perfect for his size—Making friends with Scooby their dog along the way.

If you’re stopping by and hungry for a bite, it’s WORTH IT! Not only is it great service, but SO yummy!

I had no idea this place was here. My group went shopping at the Hartline School. This café was just around the corner. Everyone in my group agreed that this was the best food on the planet! I’m coming back this weekend.

Our Date Night dinner was wonderful. After a leisurely 50 mile drive from Moses Lake we arrived to find Ken making potato salad. We both ordered one of our favorites, a deluxe bacon cheeseburger & tater tots along with a root beer. Chilled glasses filled
with ice were soon delivered along with a can of soda. This allowed us to pour our own drinks and slurp up some hyper cold foam reliving childhood memories. After a short wait our burgers arrived, and you better be hungry. These aren’t chain store burgers, but what burgers are meant to be. Brioche style buns with the bottom bun toasted on both sides and the top only on the burger side. Generous slices of tomato and onion, pickle slices and leaf lettuce along with two slices of cheese and three slices of thick sliced crisp bacon on top of an approx 6 ounce patty, grilled to perfection. This is one of those juices running down your hands masterpieces. The tots were that perfect blend of crunchy outside creamy inside. That’s why we drive an hour one way for a Date Night burger.

Absolutely impressed. Talk about a small hometown restaurant serving big city quality. The burgers are 100% fresh and juicy and made by the owners daily. The food was second to none and I can’t wait to make the quick drive over for another meal!
