This is one of those hidden gems that locals keep coming back to. If you’re looking for truly authentic Cuban food, this spot delivers in every way. No frills, just incredible food made with care and flavor you can taste in every bite. The space is filled with thoughtful decor details that instantly transport you to old Cuba. The staff feels like family, and it’s clear most people here are regulars (we’ll definitely be joining them). Easily the best Cuban food I’ve had in Miami; the kind of place you’re tempted to keep to yourself, but can’t help recommending.

Great Cafeteria style Cuban food. No A/C but good ventilation and fans. Food is good and the service is perfect.

Not a good breakfast spot fries taste like straight grease definitely need to change their oil !!! I’ve tried their breakfast twice here and it’s always just not been good I like to give chances out but when I get a meal here the fries just always taste like straight oily grease !!!! And I come here so I won’t go to McDonald’s but McDonald’s is better ! the lady kinda is rude which I understand I don’t speak Spanish but I gave this place a chance not once but twice and still wasn’t good . Which I can understand why it’s so dead in the morning . There menu they don’t even sell smoothies or nothing the lady only said coffee or soda if your selling breakfast who wants to drink soda not even some orange juice ! which sucks cause right on there wall it literally says smoothies !

The owners are amazing and extremely kind first off! The coffee con leche is so good with toast. They also have empanadas, tacos and other food items. They also have breakfast items.
Only reason I put one less star was because black (pepper?) in the water and the pitcher handle was so flimsy that you couldn’t pick it up with the handle.

I love the pepper steak and rice recently I got a Cuban steak sandwich and it was not the best so that is why I gave them a three-star

Great place, great food, truly a hidden gem. Basically home made Hispanic comfort food. Great prices for what you get. They treat you well like family. Beer is nice and cold just go visit this place. Skip the McDonald’s nextdoor spend your $9 for a “value meal” at this place instead. Much higher quality better food.

Kenia Plaza is a rare gem in a sea of mediocre Cuban restaurants, but you’ll need to check your expectations at the door. This place is unpretentious so it’s not necessarily photo worthy, and the open air seating may turn some people off. But if you’re looking for good food, good service all at a good price, this is the place. They do have some indoor seating if you prefer but it becomes a little warm during the summer months But the friendly waitresses keep the atmosphere cool.
So in closing, the icing on the cake is that you never have to wait for a seat, they are truly an undiscovered treat.
