This is an old school Cantonese restaurant. Been here for years as the typical Cantonese style cooking satisfying. Definitely not upscale but the prices aren’t out of this world either. He decided to give this place a try after my favorite restaurant around the corner was closed on Tuesday. I would probably come back with the family just because it’s quaint and they’ve never been in a restaurant like this.

Really delicious Sesame chicken. Good sized portions. They have a lunch combo but I was really in the mood for the pork fried rice. I love that you also get a fortune cookie.

What can I say about spending 5 dollars for a good tasting, nutritious, food! They deserve an award for making the best chow mein for miles at 5 bucks! I haven’t tasted better chow mein anywhere, ever. An I have never spent so low for food at a restaurant ever!
THANK YOU KENGS!!

First time going to Keng’s, did takeout, and was disappointed. The fried rice was really bland, like no flavor. How is that even possible? The tofu pieces in the sesame tofu were ok, fried not breaded, but the sauce was not like any sesame sauce I’ve ever seen. It was tofu pieces and undercooked broccoli swimming in an almost colorless, water-like liquid that was quite sweet and had sesame seeds in it. The cream cheese puffs were the only item that was actully good. They were crunchy and filled with a good amount of cream cheese. Will not be going back.

Best I’ve had. Came on Christmas Eve for take out after not being in the area or having Keng’s in a while, and man, was it great. Sesame chicken is divine and the fried rice, cream cheese wontons, pad Thai, all of it was just so incredibly good. Super kind staff. Would recommend to anyone!

This is for a delivery order. Food was good! The appetizer tray isn’t bad, I’d pick just the chicken wings out of the mix though to get again. The wonton soup has veggies and pork added which is a nice touch, the broth is flavorful and the dumplings are great. The chicken chow mein is a solid classic comfort dish and the Singapore chow mein with shrimp was good. I mixed the veggies and shrimp and sauce with the noodles to have a lo mein type meal of it and added soy sauce for flavoring. It all hit the spot for a classic Americanized Chinese meal without skimping on quality/flavor

A true Chinese take out gem. You don’t see many places like this anymore — the true and authentic old school Chinese take out spots from the 60’s/70’s with the vintage signage and Cantonese speakers.
A true beauty of a spot that packs in great food at a great price with a lot of charm.

When I arrived, the parking lot was full and busy. When I went inside, it was empty with only a elderly couple waiting for their take out. As I was approaching the counter, the elderly man was trying to ask the lady at the counter if they could please have their order in two separate bags, the lady was so damn rude to them, I literally felt like cancelling my order, but I already paid for it. I ordered chow mein, if a restaurant is going to name their business
” _____ CHOW MEIN” You’d like to think that the chow mein would be the highlight on the menu. Well unfortunately it definitely was not, my food was room temperature, the chicken chow mein was as bad as canned chow mein, it came with a 2oz bag of noodles, oh and they were stale. No utensils, no napkins.
NO I won’t return, No I don’t recommend!

We think Kengs is the best local Chinese food we have found! We love their pork lo-mein, cream cheese wonton, garlic chicken and Mongolian dishes!
