Not being funny but my food was cold and my husband took a bite and wrapped it up. We been on the road for hours and passed through and wanted to support a small business . We purchased 3 sandwiches ! I asked was it supposed to be hot or cold and she said warm . I asked the young lady who took the order was it pulled pork and she said yes they gave us a chopped cold sandwich with a pickles . All I can say it try it yourself …. No thanks … sadly I am not trying to bash a business but seriously my food could have been hot if anything . Everyone is different might be tasty to someone else but it’s a no for us .

First off – credit card accepted! Checked off Alabama on my quest for BBQ in every state. My only complaint was I couldn’t get a 2-3 meat plate or sampler plate – they have a lot to offer. Went with the pork plate and two sides – Okra and Corn Nuggets. Excellent meal – abundant amount of each item. You can sit outside on some picnic benches – no shade – next to a busy gas station. Sauce was good that was provided but I like having options and trying the home varieties.

They have the biggest burgers. Couldn’t even eat half of it. Well worth the money. Hamburger steak was ok. Could use a little more seasoning in my opinion, but again portion size was a plus. There was no shade for sitting area that made the wait extremely uncomfortable. Too hot to be standing outside. Cashier could use a little more customer service training with no knowledge of the menu or greeting at all. For a small town place they did ok.

This is everything I want in a roadside BBQ stand. Traditional BBQ for a good price at a quantity that is more than fair. This will be a regular stop when I travel this way from here on out.

Stopped by an old gas station for a quick stretch break and saw this hole in the wall BBQ trailer beside it. There was a line on this very hot day which tells you all you need to know. We ordered pork bbq sandwiches for the road. They were HUGE! The smoked pork was so tender with just a tiny bit of bbq sauce so it didn’t over power the delicious meat. Definitely some of the best pulled pork Q I’ve ever eaten. We will stop if ever passing through this part of i65 again. 10/10 recommend.

Hmmm , I was hoping to be surprised with great food but unfortunately the coleslaw and baked beans tasted like average straight out of the can. Now the Catfish was great plus the sweet tea was real good if you are a true Southern raised God fearing down home person. The sweet tea was just like Momma’s.

Finally stopped by on way to beach. Food was pretty good! They clearly do good because there are always cars there waiting for food. Only thing wrong is it’s a unfinished wood deck construction mess around the shack and you smell the dumpster while waiting for your food.

Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t the greatest either especially for the price. $21-$22 for food and drink after card surcharge of 4% is ridiculous. Ribs were okay, the sauce was too much and very tomato and vinegary like ketchup, rather ribs without sauce but were very tender. Coleslaw was pretty good, finely chopped and moist, Baked beans basic Bush’s basically with no flavor profile just onions added. Definitely no Howling for!
