Small counter service BBQ that has delicious chopped pork and moist sliced brisket. Fries were hot and potato salad was good. Short line when we arrived and long line when we left. Should have bought some to take home!!

This is quite the hole in a wall! You immediately smell the smoke and meat! It is excellent and inviting! The staff was very friendly and kind too! They cut the meat right in front of you and the brisket dissolves in your mouth. It is very good food and the side options are excellent! I had the brisket and pulled chicken with baked beans and chili! All those sides are so good! The apple cobbler is such a nice touch as well! Both of our food was extremely enjoyable and the sauces are a nice touch as well! They have a sweet and a mild sauce at the table with some seasonings also in a shaker! I’d highly recommend eating here if you are in the area! If I was a local I’d frequent this place!

Our family always enjoys stopping here and supporting local businesses. The staff and food are always great. We even meet here for food and conversation since none of us live here. It is definitely worth the traveling for a wonderful experience.

April 2024: This place came up in a Google search while traveling and was definitely worth the stop. Very friendly, clean, fast service, and tasty food! Definitely recommend the chopped pork, fries and green beans! The coleslaw is pretty good too!

The brisket was moist and tender and delicious, and the chopped (pulled) pork was good. The longhorn stew, an unusual side in this part of the country, was very good. The sauce was complex and well-made. The staff was friendly and professional, considering I came in around closing time, and I tipped them. I would definitely venture back. Overall, a solid deal for the money. My only small suggestion would be to install a sneeze guard at the counter area if you’re going to slice brisket near where customers order.

We really loved the food. Best BBQ we’ve had lately. Pork roast was done to perfection. It is counter service which we do not care for. You get your own drinks, utensils and carry your food on a tray to your table which to us is not service. The young lady that took our order was great but the young man on the register still needs training. Overall the experience was good and we would go back for the food.

I recently dined at Ken Tex BBQ and was blown away by their incredible food and service. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, sausage link, and smoked chicken, and every bite was phenomenal. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfectly smoky bark. The pulled pork was juicy, flavorful, and paired beautifully with their tangy sauce. The sausage link had a great snap and just the right amount of spice, while the chicken was surprisingly moist with a subtle, smoky seasoning.

What an incredible experience, and what a great service, we couldn’t believe that there would be an all you can eat BBQ! The brisket was incredible, the meat choices were so good, the staff couldn’t be any nicer and welcoming! Most definitely coming back next time I’m in town, highly recommend! And don’t forget to take pictures of the place, the walls have all kinds of great decorations!!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch: the brisket sandwich was excellent as was the potato salad. Baked beans were not to my taste but the excellent and cheerful customer service more than made up for it. Not to mention some of the cute signs around the restaurant
