Service was great. Drinks are wonderful. They have a good selection of mock tails, outside of the even better selections of alcoholic drinks.
Food- it depends:
Wagyu burger-juicy, delicious, mouthwatering.
French onion soup- too salty, cheese was tasty
Chicken potpie- good portion and delicious
Steak bites- hard to chew, don’t recommend
Corn beef and cabbage- delicious
So take your pick ☺️
Our overall experience was satisfactory and do recommend this place.
With St, Patrick’s Day is around the corner, check out the events they will be hosting.
I was with, raved over every entre we were served.
We all agreed this was a place we would come back to. We’ll add Kelseys to the top of our list. (We’ll each have a list of places to try, and
a main list we keep of where we loved to go again). 5☆
We went back yesterday, the food is
still very good But…they cut the portions almost in half. We were VERY surprised. I also got the Chicken Pot Pie and wished I didn’t.I
The gravy was watery and the Pie pastry was undercooked. The highlights of this visit was the fantastic Mussel appetizer and the Creame Brulae. 3.5☆
Salmon, corned beef, salads, fries, burgers were all well liked around the table. Many revisits planned
We had one of the best servers I’ve had in many years. He was very busy, but never missed an empty glass. His name was Josh, and he made you feel like you were the only person he was serving. It was our first time there and he was very helpful & personable. He did his best to accommodate my low carb needs, and also suggested what he knew was great to eat.
Our food was served hot and quick. I got Josh’s recommended corn beef & cabbage and a fantastic jerk chicken house salad. Both were excellent and stuffed me to the gills . He had the chef plate my mashed potatoes in a separate bowl so I could eat only a small portion. My wife took the opportunity to snitch most of it because they were so good.
There were two family parties in the main dining area where we were, but acoustics were good and my wife and I could easily talk with each other. I was impressed. I’ve found most pubs are quite noisy when it’s busy.
I’m not real keen on pubs generally, but would highly recommend Kelsey’s. The food is great, and my wife said her mocktail was delicious. She did water it down some with some of my ice water, but said it was very refreshing. Prices are reasonable and our service was outstanding.
