I love this bar! It’s Allegany County’s oldest bar in continuous operation. Talk about walking into a time capsule. The bar is made out of a continuous piece on Honduran mahogany from the 40’s believe. The walls are covered with vintage beer signs, old pictures and antique coal mining pieces. Sam, the bartender, is great. He opens at 7pm Mon-Sat and stays open as long as there are customers.
Cash only. On/Off sales so you can get a bottle to go.

A total step back in time, a classic bar where people come to meet up with friends at the same table they’ve met at for the last 50 years. Food is occasionally cooked by the 92 year old owner. No menu, just one or two options. Let Sam and Netty take care of you.
