I was in town with my coworkers for a work trip and we wanted to try a local place for dinner. There were four of us total and we got there at 7pm on a weeknight. We waited over an hour to get our food (grilled chicken, a burger, and 2 orders of quesadillas). It was unacceptable that we waited that long, and that one of the only other tables in the restaurant got their food before we did. I also don’t think the quality of our meals or how long we waited was worth how much we paid. I am from a small town and have respect and patience for local restaurants in small towns, and I understand what a bad review could mean for future business. That being said, I was disappointed and do not recommend this restaurant. I would’ve been better off going anywhere else for dinner, and I hope future customers don’t have the same experience I had with my coworkers. The only redeeming quality about our experience was the fried pickles and the cheese curds appetizers.
P.S. don’t get the mashed potatoes

The service was disputable! I took my grandchild in to eat and even though they weren’t busy at all it took us over an hour to even be served our appetizer which was a cheese dip! My food came out the same time as the appetizer the lady that runs the place then got an attitude with me and told me I would still be charged for the appetizer. I will not be back and neither will my duck guides this year. So disappointing when you try to support local businesses and get poor poor poor service! They had no coleslaw no pulled pork no cheese curds and no bar Q sauce even though they were on the menu. The waitress came back twice to tell me that they are out of what I ordered. So I didn’t get what I wanted either.

We have been ordering steaks there for several years and been paying $22-$25 for ribeye steaks! So Didn’t ask just called in and ordered 5 plates and when we paid it was $260 !!!! Part our part for not asking but the steaks were $20-30 at best! Won’t make that mistake again. Tax and all was around $52 a person

Praises reviews and can’t take criticism. I agree with the “snarky” lady. I agree with the bad grease person. You change the grease as needed. Not on a weekly basis to save money. There isn’t a “day” to change grease. I guess you know that working in commercial kitchens all your life though. People read reviews.

We went in to enjoy Taco Tuesday yesterday and the place was full. We sat and sat and sat no one but the people behind us said anything to us. They never even acknowledged us then we realized no one else had any food and the people behind us appeared to be waiting for theirs. We finally got up to leave the lady behind us laughed and said ‘well maybe neat time” We are from out of town and come to the area on trips. I doubt we give another chance. The only people that seemed to be getting any attention were the people at the bar. I’ve noticed when other people give negative reviews this place just leaves snarky comments and disregards them. The table we sat at was cleared but not wiped and we watched the lady that was clearing tables do it twice while we were there. Clear and not wipe. I guess the people that left these tables got there at 11 and actually got waited on and got to eat. I can’t comment on food because I honestly didn’t even see any food.

We had a home smoked barbecue and hardly any meat and it was stringy and tough. The slaw was good! My husband said his salad with some chicken in it was good. My glass of wine was good! Yellowtail brand. The bill was $42.00 and we 3 who had barbecue almost got choked on the tough meat.. Buns were not grilled. It sucked! We will never go eat there again..

Great personable owner …burgers were great! The build your own burger was fab-bo especially with the 2 cheeses I added! Jumbo burgers at that! Little quirk of mine but I loved that the drinks were served in REAL glassware! Those that know KNOW! I’ll return and bring friends! Oh and I heard Thursdays are Trivia nights! A well rounded establishment. And did I mention the adult beverages? A definite plus! Check them out!
