Our hard working server Madison acknowledged some changes in the kitchen & a surprisingly busy night, which is exactly how it felt as an out of town visitor. She was kind in the middle of a strange dinner.
The highlights: our server Madison & the gluten free designations on the menu! There are a few gluten free foods, as is my draw to doing reviews of restaurants. The view from patio or windows is fantastic as well.
That’s sadly where it ends this evening. My “well done” prime rib came back red with tough beans & potato. The salad bar had pale & quite questionable meat, empty topping containers and no labels for the dressing (or forks). We had arrived at about 5pm.
Flies were at our table 100% of the night. (We were indoors)
Please note that in picture of my prime rib, it DOES look more red that it actually was, but I asked for “well done” as always. I sent it back to the kitchen for a reheat but it never returned, so my hubby and I paid our bill (minus my meal, courtesy of our kind server). It’s probably still there, somewhere. It had been a very long wait for our fork, then food, so we needed to leave.
I am hoping this was a fluke of a night for the establishment & things turn around, for you all who have better future experiences & reviews.
Note my husband’s prime rib was “medium” with a roll on his plate. Mine was “well done” no roll (gluten free).
I’ve never been here so when my brother asked where we should meet I suggested we try Kelly’s. We were not disappointed.
Live music. Incredible view.
My suggestion is to order the 1/2 chicken it was really good. Great selection of beers on tap as well.
The food was good- I had the BLT with garlic cilantro fries(AMAZING BTW) and the view from the patio is just gorgeous! I will certainly be returning if I’m back in that area 🙂
