The service was also a significant issue. Not greeted by the hostess in or out- she was on her phone. Our server was inattentive, and it took an excessive amount of time—nearly 20 minutes—just to receive water.
I hope the management takes this feedback to heart to improve both the kitchen operations and front-of-house training.
We’ve had friends recommend this place and finally got to try it. Definitely see why. The food was so good. I was not a huge fan of the cornbread. It was a bit chewy and dry, but everything else was great. Ribs fell apart. Meatloaf was good. Ceaser Salad was excellent.
The place was small and had a cozy, intimate vibe like a neighborhood pub kind of feeling.
My husband had a meatloaf sandwich and said he would give it a five 5️⃣. He liked the whole combination and said it had a good flavor profile. I had the brisket quesadillas, and I wasn’t that crazy about them. Actually, they were great in size, very well cooked, I just wasn’t crazy about the flavor profile. I also had a dinner salad and it was so fresh and I loved the garlic croutons on it, plus the ranch dressing was really good. I would actually give the dinner salad a five 5️⃣ and was glad I got it.
I would have liked if they would’ve had a different salsa option. I am a salsa lover, but did not really like that one at all, but since I ordered quesadillas, I tried to eat with was provided salsa-wise.
Outside of that, I’m glad we went and would definitely go there again! Because of the service we received, we had a great experience and will probably go back!
And we Loved all the food selections and really good BBQ, it was super tender and good flavor, lots of good choices for appetizers and sides different than just the regular sides you see other places, we will definitely be back
Smoked wings – check
Only wish they had more flavors and super hot sauce but so far our favorite wing spot since moving from Toronto.
Very friendly staff and quick service, great for a date night.
I liked the selection of beers that they had as some of the beers I have not seen at other places. For food we ordered fried mushrooms, the brisket stuffed jalapenos, chili, grilled chicken club and brisket hash.
Everything we ordered tasted great. I liked the brisket jalapenos, it had a good amount of heat! The brisket hash was HUGE! It was a mound of potatoes with brisket topped with 2 eggs.
I’ll definitely be back when looking for somewhere with a good beer selection and good food and excellent service.
