Found this place after looking at somewhere to eat. Lucas R was our server during our first visit. Lucas was friendly and attentive. We order the fish and shrimp combo it was served hot and was delecious and the portions were generous. The burger was very big and very good. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. The food was at a good price point. The portions were so big we came back for breakfast. Breakfast was amazing.

Come hungry! The portions are huge! Our server recommended the fried pickles as an appetizer. The four of us were not prepared for the amount of fried pickles! We filled up before our meal!

I ordered the Grand Slam Breakfast, and it was absolutely amazing! The eggs had an amazing texture and the chicken fried steak had the perfect crisp. I’d say that the hash browns were a little bland but still good. I really loved the decorations and atmosphere and the staff were so nice!!!

Kelly’s Country Cooking serves giant portions that are well worth the price. We had the chicken fried steak with hash browns and sunny-side-up eggs, and I ordered the fried fish with mashed potatoes and dark gravy along with the cornbread dressing. Not to mention the delicious biscuits! Everything was comforting and satisfying, and the hospitality really stood out. You’ll definitely be taking leftovers home.

Excellent! Visiting Houston for the first time located this restaurant for our first breakfast. The food is amazing! The cheese and the omelettes are so gooey. The pancakes are huge. My first visit to Kelly’s but we have family in the area who frequent this location and the always praise the food quality. They have so many daily lunch specials and the portions were crazy big! I wish we would have saved room for dessert but that’s going to have to be our mission on our next visit.

We pass this place all the time and said they must be good due to the parking lot being full. Portions are HUGE as we had left overs to bring home. Our server Leslie, was amazing! Giving us the satisfaction we deserve. We wanted to try everything but really the popular items from the menu. We will be back for dinner!!!

The food here is stellar country cooking. I have never been disappointed with a single dish or item. The service is hit or miss. The bussers/back waiters arr fantastic; super attentive and prompt… the actual servers on the other hand are not as enthusiastic. I had a few good servers but most of them just take your order and pretty much never come back. Not enough to deter me from coming back.

We just off a cruise and decided to stop in before going home. We have ate here before but it was years ago and haven’t been back since they did a complete remodel because of the fire. Anyhow was greeted immediately coming through the door and was told just pick your seat which I really like. After getting seated we had our drinks ordered and our coffee and water was brought immediately. After that our actual waiter came and took our order. I ordered the 2xl breakfast tacos. To me the tacos were honestly just average as they use store bought tortillas and just cooked lightly which resulted in the store doughy taste. The tacos were absolutely gigantic!! Honestly, I eat at a lot tacos lunch and breakfast from surroundings taco shops in the area so my expectations are pretty high on tacos. I would not get them again. My biscuit and gravy was good as the biscuit was really big and still hot and soft. My wife had a breakfast plate with a side of French toast. Wife did not like the French toast as she wanted more cinnamon and powered sugar on the toast itself. I ate 2 pieces of it and thought they were ok? We definitely will be back to try other dishes and do recommend this place for others to try out!!

When I hear the name of this place, my mind goes, Yummy!! If you are looking for a casual spot with original country style food, this is definitely the place. My palette was having a party with all the delicious flavors bursting in my mouth, and my eyes couldn’t believe the size of each item and dish. We had breakfast, but the menu goes beyond. Enjoy!
