Wandering Bon vivant
Kelly’s can be a little disorienting at first. The name, the bar, and the green walls suggest an Irish pub, while the Sinatra photos make you pause. The staff quickly clear it up. This is a classic Italian spot with real soul.
It is a neighborhood place full of regulars, but newcomers are made to feel welcome right away. The walls tell stories through photos of boxing legends, musicians, beauty queens, and family memories. Portions are generous, flavors are excellent, and the pizzas truly stand out. It is the kind of place that lets you forget the outside world, even if just for a while.

I used to LOVE this place when I lived in Eastie, so when I saw it on doordash I was so excited to order from them because I haven’t had it in years. However, now I live in Revere, and the restaurant has their own couriers (which is COMPLETELY understandable! ) I also understand that the app can sometimes have errors, and the app had said that the *restaurant* could choose to send a Dasher instead of their own Courier if the address was too far. However, on their end they did not seem to see that. Again, completely understandable. My issue lies in when I was trying to inform him of this clause, he seemed to have no idea about it (I considered it an app error.) and He was pretty rude about how he was speaking to me even when I offered to contact support for a dasher myself. It was very much “yeah, we’re not going there.” “Yeah, you better get them to send the Dasher because we’re not going to revere.” And I stayed polite the entire time, so it was off-putting. When doordash told me they couldn’t send the dasher I had no choice but to cancel, and that’s when they called to offer to send their own courier (nice gesture). Because I’m not a complete a-hole who steals, I informed him that DD already canceled the order and distributed credits, which seemed to upset him even more. I get it. I worked in the food industry, and it’s fast paced, expensive (especially with wasted resources), and draining. However, this was a bad customer service experience that I didn’t want to ignore because it hurt coming from a place I absolutely adored. Great food though.

Best subs and pizza always fresh. We love the pizza nice thin crust good among cheese and sauce has like the old authentic Boston Pizza taste you know..I order from here alot always trying new things call up ask for the daily specials. Always something new to try ..I tried the BBQ plate and it was really good . There BBQ sauce is the best . The portion is big and shareable . We also tried the shrimp Alfredo with broccoli it was very delicious

Great casual place. The bartender and waiter were so friendly and welcoming. I got the large pizza and split it with half Buffalo chicken and half steak bomb. Both were delicious! I liked the red sauce better than the white sauce.

This is the most traditional East Boston corner bar/restaurant to ever East Boston. Food is solid and good. Pizza is very good. Salads are fresh and crisp. The steak tips are very nice as well. Great staff that are super friendly as are the regulars. The pictures around the place are amazing. It’s another one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside but opens up to a great time. This is one of my regular hang outs. I’m usually there several times a week now.

Beautiful and historic place with a great atmosphere where many famous went there. The food is perfect, delicious, and well-prepared. The music makes the environment warm and enjoyable.
