Love their Pulled Pork! Well made and very tasty.
Comes in various options and sides depending on your appetite and budget.
Cannot go wrong with their pulled pork options – sandwich, wrap or meal.
Fries were good and they have other sides you can choose from.
Price wise it was really reasonable with free flow of fountain drinks.
Atmosphere wise it is a very typical American diner setup.
Service staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating and attentive.
Will definitely return when I am next in town.

As soon as you get out of your car, you’ll smell the smoked meat. I got the Brisket Lunch, and my wife got the Quarter Chicken Lunch. I also had the Brunswick Stew, which was very good.
The Brisket was a little dry but tasty and a good portion for lunch.
The garlic bread was dry, kind of plain, and small pieces.
Still a pretty good place.

My family came here for Mother’s Day. You seat yourself when you come in. Our waitress was very nice. We all ordered various meals including chicken wings, chicken breast, hush puppies and other items. Food came out quickly. All meals were enjoyed. The garlic bread was not the best but that’s just a personal preference. Overall great experience. Place is small but they do have a few tables outside. The best local BBQ spot in town. The chicken is tender, full of smoked flavor, the sausage also has that snap you want. I’m not a fan of sweet BBQ sauce so I stick to the hot which has a kick, however their sweet sauce is a hit. There are a variety of sides which are portioned well and freshly prepared. Dining in or to go has always been consistently friendly, fresh, and accurate.

Ordered the brisket lunch. It was excellent. Only problem I have with this restaurant is the atmosphere feels kind of southern americans only. The servers seemed to have a bad attitude. I can understand because all the senior citizens that came in either gave me dirty looks cause I was right by the entrance or complain about everything. The food was great but lacking in common courtesy. I will definitely order to go next time.

Went with a group of 4 others and all enjoyed it! This location is VERY small. Only 2 servers at most but both very attentive. Michelle was our main server but other checked on us too.
I had the Brunswick Stew. Having lived in Brunswick for 2 years it was comparable and even better than some I’ve had there! Also had the pulled pork sandwich and side of greens. The pork was slightly dry but sauce helped. They have a Carolina based mustard sauce and a sweet sauce. Both were good. Also have a hot sauce which I didn’t try.
Nice atmosphere but men’s restroom could use some love. It was clean but had some peeling paint. Quick simple fix!
All in all give them a try. Note there are 2 locations. This review is for Lake Mary. Also one in Altamonte springs but told by several it’s not as good!

Everything tonight went very well!
We were greeted quickly and found a table outside that was clean. The hostess got our menus and drink orders quickly and even put in our order of hush puppies for us before the waitress came to take our orders.
The hush puppies came out quickly and we’re perfectly cooked.
We ordered the Western Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich with Mac & cheese and the Bar-b-q Chicken Wrap. All three came out fairly quickly but not so fast they we couldn’t enjoy our hush puppies. All three meals came out hot and cooked properly. They all tasted very good. The Western Grilled Chicken Sandwich was very hot (temp hot, not spicy ) and a good sized portion! The Pulled Pork was good but seemed more like chopped pork and not pulled so a little more chewing was needed. It still was very tasty. The Bar-b-q Chicken Wrap was also very good and a good sized portion. The fries were all good (Sheriff Dave of the fry police did not have to show up), cooked well and plentiful.
Our waitress Michelle was very good, always smiling, kept up with our drinks, cleared dirty dishes quickly and asked if there was anything else she could bring us.
Their electronic bill pay tablet also calculated tip correctly against the subtotal, not on tax! Their quick options were 18%, 22% & 25%. Thought that kinda odd the standard 20% wasn’t offered but there was a custom tab that calculated percentage of whatever amount you wanted so no math problems to solve.
The whole meal was excellent.

Where do i begin? the ribs are awesome – the texture, the flavor and the original and sweet sauces as well, the mashed potatoes with gravy are great. All the food I’ve had from this restaurant’s stellar to say the least. The prices are reasonable as well!
I ordered through Uber eats and requested utensils, and the restaurant perfectly obliged, which is much appreciated. They gave extra food as well (garlic bread) and truly went above and beyond in terms of making the takeout/delivery experience perfect.
I have to admit that I dined in in the past and the service was bad, however the taste of the food and the value/price made up for it.

Great BBQ joint, there are only two locations that I know of. This one is in Lake Mary and the other is in Altamonte Springs. I have been to both locations for over 10 yrs. and haven’t disappointed me yet. I had the sliced pork lunch special with collard greens, green beans, and fries.
