I’ve read some really negative reviews of this place and I’m really happy I didn’t allow them to influence my decision to eat here.
The shrimp po-boy was absolutely delicious! Hot and fresh and plentiful to say the lease. I actually counted the number of shrimp piled up o had to eat just to get out of the way to pick the sandwich up,….it was 13.
I’m not doubting those of you with the negative experiences, but it bothers me when you say not to eat at this place because YOU didn’t have a positive experience. This place was great. Friendly service, nice and clean, comfortable environment and damn good food.

One of my customers brought me a Keith’s Seafood Po Boy, so unfortunately I can’t comment on the Service or Atmosphere. But whatever the case the food was outstanding. Everything that makes up a Po Boy they nailed it, from the produce to the shrimp. I travel a lot for work and Po Boys is my go to for quick eats, so I’ve tried many and they are in fact The BEST.

I ordered the catfish poboy fries and corn. The corn was well seasoned and great with or without butter. The fries were good. The catfish was good, and the portion size was large. Will try again.

In my recent dining experience, I ordered the 8-piece chicken wings and fries, which unfortunately turned out to be exceptionally poor. The chicken was overcooked, resulting in a flavor reminiscent of spoiled seafood. I promptly brought this matter to the attention of the cashier and the individual in charge. However, their response was dismissive and unhelpful, indicating that there was no recourse for the unsatisfactory quality of the food. As a result, I have decided to refrain from patronizing this establishment in the future.

First time trying them out. Very clean and exceptional staff. Reasonable prices with too much for for just one person. They have seafood and boiled seafood. Also have a hot bar. I ordered a grill shrimp on bun dressed and a small fry with a mango madness snapple. Total was $13. There were about 50+ shrimp on the bun and it was toasted to perfection. The drys were to much to eat. I forgot to take the picture before I started eating the sandwich but pictured are the amount of shrimp left after I finished the sandwich (bun same size as the container) but that’s the actual fry amount. Definitely will enjoy, heads up, they cook with MSG, just in case you can’t tolerate it.

Never able to catch this place open when I’m passing through. A shrimp poboy w/ onions and a side of fries, total was 20 something I believe. Fries & shrimp were fully seasoned. I had crunchy lettuce & my tomatoes weren’t mushy but firm and somewhat a thick cut, fresh pickles as well. My apologies no pictures of the fries, more like Burger King fries, possibly fried in peanut oil. Added 2 more pictures I had 1 was a fish sandwich & the other was another shrimp poboy.
Honestly no complaints at all.

I had a terrible experience with Keith’s Seafood in Chalmette today. The food quality was extremely disappointing – it was nowhere near the fresh, flavorful seafood I expected. The meal was bland and tasted stale, like it had been sitting out for too long or cooked in old dirty grease. Worse shrimp platter I’ve ever had.
When I tried to reach out to the manager to let them know about the issue, I was shocked at the treatment I received. Not only was the manager completely unwilling to address my concerns, but she also hung up on me and, surprisingly, threatened to call the police if I came back to speak to them in person! She said she doesn’t have to express or go over the policy of the store with me. I was only trying to share my experience politely, hoping for a chance to resolve the issue or at least be heard, but was met with hostility instead which was very frustrating.
It’s disappointing when a business has no customer service or respect for its patrons, especially given the competition in the area. If you’re considering dining here, I’d recommend exploring other seafood options where you’re treated with respect and can count on a quality meal. I honestly wanted to go back and take my little tip I left as the “manager” there didn’t deserve a penny.

Atmosphere in the Restaurant was great walking in Cashier service was excellent they Answered all my questions with Politeness she tolded me about the meau I never been there before I seen a lot of Bad reviews about Keith’s Seafood I was scared of going but the food looks so good on the internet meau I tolded the Cashier’s about what I was reading Well THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT different owner I was tolded the food was fried excellent not hard like I like it beer batter onion rings fire Seafood platter excellent fish, Oysters,big ,big Shrimp beer batter sweet onion rings ,potatoe salad ,toast bread so much food for the price I even ordered Seafood Crabs,crawfish,a Big plate to go of my choice so much food I have a NEW PLACE TO GO we enjoyed everything yall check Keith’s Seafood out u won’t be Disappointed

I ordered the gumbo and chicken wing plate to go and it was just okay. The gumbo was pretty good, but I personally like it a bit darker. I’m not sure what it was about the chicken, but there was a seasoning in there that didn’t agree with me. I’ll be back to try the fried and boiled seafood out though!

If you go, go here for the seafood. The shrimp po-boys are so over stuffed you can make a meal out off the shrimp that fall off of your sandwich. The shrimp dinner contains bigger shrimp than the po-boy and they give you plenty as well. The soft shell crab dinner comes with three medium sized crabs, and seafood platter had so much food it fed three people.
