This was the best meal I had during our 4 days in Moorea!
I recommend the below order
– poisson cru
– duck magret well done with a side of garlic rice
– The poisson cru is the national dish of Tahiti and the one they have here is FANTASTIC, plus they serve generous helpings. It was served as an appetizer and I declined 3 attempts to remove the empty dish since I wanted to save the sauce for our entrees because it was so good lol. Once my duck entree arrived I was able to let go of it.
– The duck magret was PHENOMENAL. They asked how I wanted it cooked and I forgot so I told them how I like my steak: medium. Which was a mistake. Duck is too chewy and stringy when medium so next time I would have it cooked well-done. Fortunately, my leftovers the next day when microwaved cooked it a little further and that was perfect — it’s a dish that reheats really well.
– You can choose a side. I chose green beans and it sucked. My partner got garlic rice and it was so good with my duck. Especially the next day, it was even more delicious since I wasn’t full of poisson cru.
– My partner got mahi mahi and I didn’t like it, too fishy. But he enjoyed it.

This hidden gem is a must go while in Moreea. The atmosphere was wonderful. Service was top notch. And saving the best for last, the food was out of this world. Got the poisson cru was unlike no other. Then I got the short rib and wifey got the shrimp flambeed. Then finished it off with the chocolate lava cake. Atmosphere was quite and intimate. We got the when they opened so we had no wait time, but if you are a last minute type then make a reservation.

Popular spot – would recommend getting a reservation. Showed up when it opened with no wait though. Food and drinks were immaculate. We enjoyed this place so much we ate here twice. Romantic ambiance – great for dates

What a great place for dinner. Everything was outstanding and the food was delicious. The raw fish was amazing and so was the crispy pork and then the desert was next level. Portions are big and I probably ate too much but I am NOT complaining at all ❤️. The prices were also very reasonable. We will go back again.

We loved this restaurant, the food specials are top , we ate there 2 nights in a row , on the second night they have had also a live music . The service is very attentive, they bring also little entrée on the house . The setting next to the pool and big projections of Moorea islands on screens . Very nice atmosphere . It’s good to come early around 18h , limited parking space .

Amazing!!! We popped in for lunch and loved this place. Dining is in a private garden at the rear of a property, pretty and tranquil. The food they’re producing is superb! The fresh grilled fish was beautiful (a special) as was the tuna tartare (another special). Oddly, one of the other highlights was the garlic bread – a massive portion to share and, honestly, probably the best garlic bread we’ve ever had (again, it may have been a special so check it’s still being served). Don’t miss this place if you’re in Moorea.

For Moorea this place rocks. The chef is audacious, trying complicated dishes not usual for Tahiti. The decor is decent, a repurposed home with minimal detail. Service was ok, my 2 cents would be to educate the serving staff as far as the menu goes.
I had the Vol-au-vent, not the simplest of dishes, high marks for the veggies and condiments, the filling was delicious, but the pastry was lacking.
The souris d’agneau was nice.
All in all, a very good choice for Moorea, beats 99% of Hotel food for sure.

I was craving something hearty after a bike ride around all of Mo’orea and the short rib with mashed potatoes was perfect. They might have forgot about me for 30min but I don’t mind because I’m on vacation and the food was so good.

Only about 2 mins walk from the Manava Hôtel. They also have a parking lot at the front. The food was lovely, I really craved for some mahi mahi fish since we landed in French Polynesia. And this restaurant did not disappoint. Curry tuna tartare for starter, very subtle Island curry just to elevate the tartare with some spice. Mahi mahi main was delicious, the fish was moist and tasty. To finish it up, profiteroles with chantilly and chocolat, it was melting as we ate in the tropical heat and was so good. Yummy, mau’uruuru roa!

This restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing great service, which made us feel truly welcome.
The food was exceptional—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, and the balance of flavors was impressive. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the menu offered a great variety to suit different tastes.
Overall, this restaurant exceeds expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates excellent food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere.
