I highly recommend coming here for some quality sushi! Super friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food!! Has a cozy informal kind of vibe, but the sushi is plated beautifully. The eel sashimi is out of this world good, it’s grilled and it melts in your mouth. The escolar was also delicious. We got a California roll which was yummy but basic of course, and a special sunshine roll that blew me away. Fast service on a slower weekday evening, and just generally a comfortable place where you feel like family.

One of my favorite restaurants in the whole city and has been for years. I love the variety of vegetarian rolls they have and highly recommend the Trasher Plate!
Staff are incredible. Very courteous and just downright cool people. The vibes are so chill, never had a single bad experience here and I’m here pretty frequently.
Food quality is consistently delicious and fresh and for the portions the prices are indeed fair.

From the moment you step through the door, you’re welcomed into an inviting, upbeat atmosphere that feels both chic and comfortable. The décor is modern yet cozy, perfect for both casual nights out or special occasions.
The service here is phenomenal. The staff are not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great suggestions that made our meal all the more enjoyable. They were attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing of the courses was perfect—giving us plenty of time to savor each dish.

I went to get sushi from this establishment on 9/11/25 and they have great customer service I asked a bunch of questions because I never ate there before and I was able to order a bunch of delicious sushi for my parents and I the food was prepared fast as well thank you for your service my family was satisfied

I’ve been here multiple times now and I always leave full and happy. Their crawdad bowl is a staple and must try (I love to get it with extra sauce).
All the fish is super fresh, there are so many unique rolls, and they have a good variety of sake!
My husband is not a seafood lover but he came here with me and there were also good alternative options for him which is great.
Overall, extremely satisfied.

I’ve been getting my sushi exclusively from Keep It Rollin Sushi Bar. They are hands-down the BEST in Rochester! I have known the owners for over 12 years and followed them across the city as they worked at various sushi restaurants—until they finally opened their own establishment.

I’m not usually a fan of seafood, but this sushi restaurant absolutely blew me away! They have an impressive variety of non-seafood options, so I didn’t feel limited at all. I tried the Chicken Chancellor Roll (just chicken strips in a roll), and it was fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the rice and sauces. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. If you’re a sushi lover or even someone who doesn’t love seafood, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Gyoza were pretty tasty, not the best we tried though. The rolls we tried were okay, but far from best. California roll doesn’t even resemble Californian California. Doesn’t look like one, doesn’t taste like one and doesn’t smell like one. Somewhat dry and strange. In comparison with sushi spots in CA this one loses on many fronts. The products are fresh, and sushi with smoked fish were quite original.

Keep it Rollin’ is one of our TOP favorite places to go to eat in Rochester. The prices are fair, the staff is awesome and the food is FANTASTIC.
They offer plenty of options for people who don’t like seafood & they have some of the best sauces I have ever tasted.
My father, myself, and many friends highly recommend Keep it Rollin’ as our first option for sushi and quite honestly our first thought for lunch after the work day.
I strongly recommend the crawdad or the off-menu Tofu bowl if you’re in a pinch for lunch!
