Nice traditional Florida sea food restaurant. We were seated without reservations, but the restaurant filled up quickly afterwards. Our server was quick and attentive. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. I had the amberjack special and my wife had the grouper. Both were cooked nicely – not overcooked. I had the key lime pie for desert. It was unique in that they use ritz crackers in the crust. Overall we had a good experience. We will be back.

The food is amazing! We traveled from Apollo Beach just for the octopus. It’s out of this world. The only bummer is no bloody marys. They only serve wine and beer. The oysters were also very good. This place os always worth the trip. We also tried the artichoke hearts. You don’t see those on any menu in the area. Very good!

First time dining at Keegan’s Seafood Grille and I have to tell you…it won’t be my last!! We were seated immediately upon arrival which was very nice. Amanda was our server and did an excellent job between making menu suggestions and also let us know about the daily specials in which I wound up getting the Parmesan Panko Crusted Amberjack w/garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli & garlic bread!!! The food is so good from the entrees to the sides!!! We never had an empty glass as she was always making sure our drinks were full!! Atmosphere is very pleasant with nice decor, classic rock music playing and the entire restaurant smells amazing with the aromas of excellent food flowing from the kitchen!!! Highly recommend this place!!! I look forward to dining again as their menu has an amazing amount of food choices!!! Kudos to the kitchen staff as well for a spectacular job in all they do!!!

Overall the food was pretty good, put server was friendly and if you’re looking for a small spot for dinner then you’d be happy. We had the fried conch, dill pickles, crab cakes and scallops.

Great service during a pretty busy Friday evening! Everyone said their food was good. I was pleased with the portion sizes and pricing for the kids’ meals. I had the crab cakes and they were excellent! The only complaint I had was their sangria has cinnamon in it; some may like it, but it was just very overpowering to me and I could not bring myself to drink it. I had already paid at the bar prior to our meal, but my server was so kind and brought me a dessert on the house. She was so nice! We will definitely come back the next time we are in town!

Keegan’s fried grouper sandwich was good but they definitely should upgrade the bun. I wanted to love it but I didn’t. The fish without the bun was good. The blackened grouper was not the best. It was not evenly seasoned and tasted burnt in various bites. The zucchini chips is a must. To the waiter who waited on us, you did a great job!

Was a nice day for sitting on a patio. Keegan’s was that patio today. Justin was our server! While, I had a burger, the star of today’s meal was the Jamaican Jerk Grouper Sandwich. It was blackened group, with a jerk sauce served on a toasted bun with lettuce/tomato/lemon wedge. (Fries were generous, Justin split the serving he had and brought us out more when they were ready). I loved how fresh the fish spread was, it was just enough to be an appetizer! The flavor was light and refreshing!!

The gumbo was amazing. 5 stars. The crab cake also 5 stars. The grouper blacked sandwich was 3 stars. The swordfish diner 2 stars. Really disappointed after a great start.
