Kecco’s Woodfire Kitchen is the flagship restaurant for restaurateur and chef Antonio Scotto di Frega. In his budding 20s, Tony came to this country to live his dream. Taking his love for people, and passion for food to the next level, was in his blood. That fiery drive led his career to cook, run, open, and expand several restaurant concepts. Landing on this one which beautifully combines all styles of dining into one space. Kecco’s is an environment that feels Italian. The flow of space, interior vibe, and mix of traditional scents and flavors. We serve the dishes that you remember from when you ate over your Italian neighbor’s house, or from when you visited Italy. Simple, clean, mouth watering combinations that you can actually taste…

Great experience! We’ve been coming here since they opened. Real wood-fired pizza oven for that authentic Neopolitan bubbly crispy crust. Remarkable appetizers and pasta dishes you cant find elsewhere locally. As I eat my way through the menu, I have not sampled anything I disliked. I love the loud, travatoria, familia vibe and retro Italia photos!

UPDATE 22126 Julie was our waitress. It was only her 2nd day and she did great. She was attentive and checked on us. Food came out quickly, was great and the oil served with the bread was thick and delicious.
51725: Our 3rd time here and we were very disappointed in the service (waitress was Stephanie R.). It took 20 minutes to get a waitress to take our drink and food order and only because we stopped a hostess to ask for assistance. By the time our order was taken, another table already had drinks and some food and they came in 5 minutes after our table! My food was half gone before she brought my beer. Food was as good as usual, but the service was not up to par.
Our first time to Kecco’s and it was a very good experience. Octopus appetizer and pizza were served up very quickly. Angel, our server, was great.

The waitress was very friendly, the food was simple, our table was next to the kitchen door and we could hear and see the owner yelling at the employees and throwing plates aggressively.

I was a walk in yesterday afternoon. The staff greeted me as I entered the restaurant and helped me order a takeout dinner. The meatball parmigiana panini was perfect. The meatballs were not garlicky and the sauce was sweet. I enjoyed the roll. We’ll be back.

If you like going out to dinner and hearing the chef or owner yelling during most of your dinner then this is the place for you. If you like unexpectedly paying more for a dish than listed on the menu, then this is the place for you. If the food was excellent I’d overlook the overcharging issue but the food was so disappointing. I wonder was the chef too busy yelling to focus on preparing the dish properly? The waitress was nice and the bus staff very efficient. The greeters/ hostesses need work being a little more welcoming and less confused. The decorations were pretty if you could make it through the small space between the patron sprawn out into the aisle at the bar, and the Christmas tree. If you’d like to eat an enjoyable meal, this is not the place for you. I just wish I would have read the other reviews before going. How the loud mouth in the kitchen can disrespect customers after other reviewers already mentioned to tone it down, I don’t know. But our group won’t be back. PS we Italian too, so don’t drag us down by saying it’s an Italian thing, it’s not-it’s a you thing. Stop screaming and creating an unwelcoming environment. That’s not the Italian way!!!

First and last visit. We came for dinner and ordered wine, bruschetta as an appetizer, and the Carnivore pizza. Our waitress was incredibly polite and attentive, and both the wine and bruschetta were excellent.
Unfortunately, the sausage on the pizza tasted old. When we mentioned this to the owner, we were surprised to be told we would need to pay for an entirely new pizza rather than having the problematic one replaced.
To each their own, but it felt as though pride took priority over customer experience and serving quality food.

We had a very disappointing experience. My husband and I visited around 9 PM, and the front desk staff gave us a rather cold reception. After seating us, no one returned to check on us. When a staff member finally approached, they simply handed us the menu and did not follow up afterward. Throughout our visit, several staff members appeared to be on their phones. After waiting without service, we ultimately decided to leave. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.

Food and service were great. We had a 20 minute wait on a Friday night. Prices were affordable. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was ok…. the sauce has a little kick (spicy). My husband ordered a chicken and sausage dish and he loved it. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti sauce was decent, I did not lot like the meatballs at all and I threw them in the trash. All of the staff were working really hard the entire night to accommodate the guests.

Pretty quiet on a Sunday. Covered outdoor seating available. Food was good and portions were good all at a reasonable price. Close to 795 exit.

Great pizza. Varied menu. Lots of pasta dishes. At least one each of lamb, veal, sausage, chicken, shell fish and regular fish. My favorite pasta dish is the canneloni. BYOB corkage fee $10.
