Absolutely the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. Every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavor, perfectly spiced, and incredibly fresh. The injera was soft and delicious, and the portions were generous. You can truly taste the love and tradition in the cooking. If you want real Ethiopian cuisine that will leave you satisfied and happy, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!

My husband picked up our order to go and commented on how clean the restaurant was, that’s always good. The to go packaging was great, wasn’t squished. So that was good, too. Every single component of our meal was so delicious and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were big enough for two meals, I am enjoying the leftovers as I type.This is hands-down the best in the area. We have a new favorite Ethiopian restaurant…

I visited Kebena Restaurant in Seattle for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! We had the meat combo it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also tried their coffee, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The owner even came over to chat with us, which made us feel so welcome. The service was warm, friendly, and genuine. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great food and great hospitality!

Everything we had was very flavorful and tasted fresh. The service was great and they were very accommodating with our group that had 2 kids in it. We had the combo dish so we could try both the meat and vegetarian options. The spice level on a few dishes were perfect.

Kebena is incredible!! I went here for dinner tonight in a large group of 6 adults and 2 babies and had some of the best vegetarian Ethiopian food. I shared the veggie combo with a friend and had Ethiopian beers – everything was delicious! The staff were incredibly nice and were so cute with my friend’s 1 year old kiddo. I highly recommend Kebena, it was yummy, affordable, family friendly, and the service was great.

GREAT food, and friendly service in an attractive and comfortable restaurant. With parking! We love Ethiopian food and have enjoyed many local places, and this is our hands-down new favorite. Lots of interesting menu choices, bountiful combination platters to share, and delicious injera. I love that they have lots of “wot” choices also offered as side dishes at a lower price point. Our party of seven was warmly welcomed by our server and the owner/chef. We look forward to many visits in the future!

I don’t typically write reviews but this place was phenomenal. I visited with my family and friends and the staff were warm and friendly to everyone, including our one year old. The food was the best meal
I’ve had in years, down to the last detail, from the injera to the different lentils to the meat and the greens. We split the combo plate and despite us eating as much as we could, including our one year old, there was still food leftover. Don’t be fooled by the nondescript exterior. It’s going to be the best meal you’ve had in a long time.

We tried the house combo. Everything was really good! Even the beets were good and I normally don’t like beets.
