Last stop on our Taste of Killeen tour. My selection: the gyro with a Mediterranean salad on the side because the Lamb Gyro plate, that my co-worker ordered looked like a lot, and we still had to go back to work! The lamb was tender and flavorful and the serving size was plentiful. We’re were looking for a place that served Mediterranean food/ gyros and stumbled upon this… great find. It’s on the list for the next time.

OK, honestly the food was amazing. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. I was really sad because she said they were out of the sauce that they drizzle on top. I had wanted a little bit extra. She also said they didn’t have any lemons. Attitude could’ve been a little bit better. But the food is honestly so delicious

I ordered the Veggie Plate. i was told they were having a special where I could pair the meal with fries and a drink, so I did just that. The sauce was really tasty, and the falafel had crispy exterior while being very fluffy on the inside. The basmati rice had a nice flavor of cumin and turmeric. The mediterranean salad tasted fresh and crisp, while the fries were well salted. I really enjoyed my meal and would recommend this establishment to others.

I placed an order on UberEats, my order clearly stated I wanted cucumbers and extra onions. I got just meat and bread and then the rice plate didn’t have any salad even though the plates description states that it does. The flavor is okay but not something I would say I need to eat again.

This is my first time ordering from Kebab-istan, and the food was good. I ordered the Mixed Grill Plate and some falafels. The meat, rice, pita bread, and veggies were all seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The falafels lacked a bit of flavor but were still good. I placed a pickup order, the order was completed on time and without errors. The restaurant looked clean and everything was neatly placed. For the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for Middle Eastern food in Killeen, I highly recommend giving them a try.

I’ll kick off with my lowest rating. So…you guys, let’s be honest… this eatery is serving its purpose…and that’s all. I initially missed it because the signage doesn’t really stand out. It sits on a small corner of a strip next to another small restaurant. I parked behind the building just to be safe ( I know right! Trust me, I did it for my car). Going in, you are immediately in the restaurant. I think the lobby holds about six 4-seater tables. Order at the counter, canned sodas and Togo boxes. I mistakenly ordered the Gyro plate which is basically a deconstructed Gyro. Before I move on to the food, I gave it 4 stars because the employee had on a sleeveless shirt. She was very nice but health and safety wise… I’m just not into seeing someone near food with open armpits. My plate was actually cheaper than the lunch special Gyro. It was filling! I didn’t eat it all because it was too much for lunch. My rice, my meat my bread…it was all delicious! No fibbing. My meal was $15. The average meal these days is about that much and I actually have 2 servings. Not bad right . I would consider this place a hole in the wall and well worth my $15 and my time. Go try it out!! I’m going to go warm up my leftovers now Ta-Ta

The person who took my order also cooked my food was on the phone and seemed more concerned with her phone call then the actual customer. Me and my husband wanted no tomatoes and onions and told her this. We get home and there is in fact onions and tomatoes on our gyros. Fries very bland. Overall super sad and disappointing since I had saw a Facebook review saying this place was really good.
