Since the time we went, and I believe currently, are operating through a food truck. They are opening up their own brick and mortar location in that same spot, so look out for their Facebook posts about it.
When you go, it is recommended to order through the phone so you can pick it up via drive thru. If you go there, you will need to park through one of the 3 lanes they have available. One of the workers will walk up to you and verify if you called in for an order or allow you to order from there with a menu they provide. They speak English and Spanish. Once ordered it takes about 30-40 minutes. You can stay there parked in the drive thru lane or at the open parking lot behind or you can leave and come back later to pick it up. We just waited in line.
My wife ordered the Chiefs Roll and I ordered the Chacaloso Roll. Both were a great portion for the prices $15 for the Chiefs Roll and $16 for the Chacaloso Roll. The cheese covering on the Chiefs roll was great and actually covered a good portion of the rolls, the meats inside both rolls were fulfilling. Overall a great experience for Sinaloa sushi. I recommend trying the sauces and adding the grilled onions on top. The Serrano’s are spicy so be careful if you’re not prone to eating them bare.
Give it a try for dinner or a late night snack!

Kculichi Sushi absolutely blew me away. I never expected to find Mexican–Japanese fusion in Kansas City, but I’m so glad we decided to give this place a try. The creativity on the menu matches the quality coming out of the kitchen.
I ordered the Plebe Roll and my wife got the Bichi, and both were fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and packed with the perfect balance of heat and umami. You can tell they take pride in the ingredients and the presentation.
Customer service was top tier as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for something unique, delicious, and memorable, Kculichi Sushi is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!
