Food was great.
The bartender was waiting tables and tending bar, so no waitstaff, which is a lot for one person. The bar was pretty busy too. But she was attentive and kind.
Atmosphere was festive and fun.

They did not have the kitchen open for lunch. Several people came in for food but had to be turned away. Beer was good and cold! Good selection of MN beers on tap, I loved that!

Matt is a GREAT bartender. He is johnny on the spot with everything. My wife got the broasted chicken melt and I got their half pound burger on sourdough. Both of us thought our meal was perfect. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. if you are in the area I would highly suggest stopping through! One of the other reviews said that if you’re not a local they will make you feel welcome. That is not even remotely true. Matt was extremely friendly to us the entire time and a great bartender. If you are in Pillager stop through for a beer and lunch!!

Love, love LOVE this place. 420 burger is AMAZING. Best bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Prices are good and staff are amazing. They make you feel like family and after just a couple stops, they know your name. Highly recommend stopping in!!!

I love the almost square bay layout creating an original feel to the bar scene and the tvs are nice and the chicken bacon sandwich with bbq is definitely my favorite style sandwich thanks to ks’s saloon

Been coming here for years, and not ever was it a bad time or the food not good. The atmosphere is great, the food fantastic, and the service is the best around. 15 years now, and will be coming until I can’t anymore.

Food and Service were second to none, one of the best burger and fries EVER made. I will definitely be back. My only complaint is the drunk locals at the bar seemed proud they knew 4 letter words so they repeatedly said them until another patron told them to watch their mouths. The bartender/cook/waitress was busy as heck, but she did an amazing job.
