Welcome to KC’s Rib Shack Barbecue restaurant. New Hampshire’s favorite BBQ for over two decades. At KC’s Rib Shack, serving the world’s finest hickory-smoked ribs and BBQ is our passion. Our food and exceptional service are definitely two things we take seriously. No white tablecloths here, you’ll sit at butcher paper covered tables under the Christmas lights and pull from a roll of paper towels to wipe our homemade BBQ sauces from your face. Our Southern style Barbeque, Bar-B-Que, Bar-B-Cue, just Q, or however you spell it, is seasoned with our own recipe of different dry rubs and cooked without sauce. Its then cut to order and prepared straight from our smokers which run 24 hours a day…

Definitely one of the top places to get ribs. Took my son and we split a full rack of ribs and some fries. They provide bottles of different sauces which was better, so we could eat some dry and some with sauce for the full experience. The staff was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Very clean. The tables weren’t sticky and gross like some places we have been too. Highly recommend this place!

For my last night in Nashua, I decided to drive up to KC’s in Manchester. It was a good choice.
Sitting at the outside bar, 75 degrees, a local IPA, wonderful brisket, and a super bartender. It was a perfect meal and evening before flying home.
I will be back next time I’m in NH.

I’ve tried many barbecue places and they have all fallen short every single time we visit the food is always great and consistent. Personally it’s the best barbecue I have tasted. The staff is incredible. The atmosphere is awesome. Everything is clean. I have tried every single item on their menu and I am very picky let me elaborate I am a foodie and I only want to eat good quality yummy delicious food. Stoked we found this place! The layout was setup with different levels – a dining room on the first floor, an upper level with a great sports bar and a nook tucked away in the loft of an old barn turned restaurant is really cool. The food was incredible with tender, moist BBQ and some creative sauces and sandwiches. The back patio with a tiki bar and live music really was the perfect place for a summer day. Would be great for Sunday football or to break up the drive going to the lakes region. One of the best BBQ spots we’ve found in the Northeast and definitely worth checking out!

Many of these google reviews reflect the phenomenonal food, as it should but I’d like to reflect on the excellent employees of KC’s. The man, I should have asked him for his name, not only worked the bar but he took our order at the table and never stopped moving. With a Boston Red Sox hat and a black hood, he was up and down those stairs and paid attention to everything! Filled our drinks without us asking and kept an eye out for any task to do. He gave a sense of comfort within the environment. We ate until we couldn’t anymore! Spectacular and I’d recommend the S’more for dessert if you have room for it 🙂

Ashley was a lovely bartender however I have a real problem with their brisket. Thin dry lean zero flavor – the issue I have is their special comes sauced, a huge red flag.
Good spare ribs good rice good sausage. I would advise against the onion rings…..

I ordered the brisket dinner with dirty rice and collard greens. The sides where delicious but brisket was lacking in flavor. There wasn’t much of a smoke ring but the bark was decent and it was nice and tender.

Will come again, and again and again!Ordered the platter that served 2. Was awesome. Next time will take two orders of pulled pork with the ribs and brisket. Got the side of fries and chili, both very good and leftovers came home. Sauces at the table are yummy but not required. Hickory bbq is spot on, tangy Georgia gold had more of a mustard vibe, the sweet apple is just that similar to pie filling, and the Carolina vinegar has a vinegar start with a spicy kick. Also ordered the bloody mary, rim spice had a nice smoke flavor and this is the most extras I’ve ever had.

I went here for dinner on a Monday night with five coworkers and we really had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a rustic vibe and the food simple and delicious. The portions were quite large and we definitely got good value. Try the deviled eggs! The wait staff was attentive and social. I would definitely go back!
