We always order to go and it never disappoints! The BBQ plate always hits and the mozzarella sticks have the best cheese pull. Online ordering is easy and pickup is always fast and friendly. The smoke wings and pulled pork are our favorite and you can’t go wrong with the nachos and loaded baked potato!! Ask for extra sauce- delicious.

Ohh what a great gem! Its more of a Mom and Pop sit down and enjoy a cold sweet tea and a BBQ sandwich kind of place! Buttt ohhh myyy the outside wooden bench seating is an experience in its self! Beautiful view of the water. I would truly host a low key country wedding out here! (Picture to reflect a part of the deck view).
As for the food well unfortunately I only picked up 3 sides : BBQ Beans, Green Beans, and a side of vinegar slaw. Goshh wish I would of tried the ribs! But maybe next time! Judging by the smell of the food coming out im sure ill be visiting soon!

This place is located on the water front of a really nice park. I sense they’re big during summer time around there. I had BBQ pork plate with fried okra & baked beans. The fried okra & bake beans were fantastic, but the pork, I’ve never experienced pull pork cooked to the point of being mush! Allot of reviews mention the beef brisket, but I’m not crazy about BBQ beef. Maybe their best is the beef brisket, but the pork is not what I expected. ( Note: I did eat everything on my plate, no waste from this southerner!).

The food here was great. I had the ribs and they were very good. You can get them with or without BBQ sauce which is a good option that a lot of barbecue places do not offer. I got mine without the sauce, but I did taste the sauce and it was a little spicy but it was good. Really great thing about this place is the view. It overlooks a gorgeous lake. All in all I would recommend trying this place out if you’re ever in Scottsboro.

Beautiful location within Jackson County Park on the waterfront of Guntersville Lake. Friendly service with an expansive menu. Enjoyed the BBQ plate with hot BBQ sauce and hash brown casserole! Cheeseburger and Baked Beans were delicious as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with direct access to the dock.

We enjoyed our meals , having tried the big chuck burger and the brisket plate. You can’t go wrong with any of the choices from what we saw on the other plates in the dining room. Off the beaten path hidden gem! The place is beautiful and though seating is limited it was a cozy feel. The one downside was not being able to figure out how to get to the outside dining area by the water feel the doors could be labeled better for this purpose. But we plan to come back to sample more of the delicious BBQ offered. They have a little bit of everything pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, brisket that was super flavorful, burgers, wings, nachos, stuffed potatoes, loaded fries, chicken fingers, grilled cheese or a BLT. The house bbq wasn’t my favorite sauce more of a bbq meats 57 steak sauce but other than that no real complaints. The onion rings and fries were better than fast food fare and the green beans were good. Not a fan of the vinegar slaw but that’s personal preference. Can’t wait till the next visit.

Staff was friendly and service fast. Great atmosphere that’s old and unassuming as a good BBQ joint should be. Great waterfront location.
The food though was just not good. Pulled chicken was dry like opening a can at home and coming back the next day to eat it. Brisket looked frozen and reheated and was AWFUL. The manager tried it and spit it out.
Now I want to be fair. They took the brisket back, apologized, replaced with ribs and wings and made a big effort to make it right. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars not 1. They stepped up. The ribs were much better. But sides were bland and kids meals too. MAYBE we caught them on a bad day but I don’t understand how you can serve this as brisket and be proud of it.
Maybe just go on a weekend so food is fresher. We went out of our way since hardly anyone has brisket around here and we most likely won’t be back. Great spot, great digs, great staff/service. My guess is they buy low quality food or use frozen. Either way it was not good.
