This is such a cute donut place! Amazing selection and so yummy! I took my little kids on a Friday morning around 9am to get a donut for a fun snack. They had a lot to choose from. They also have coffee with syrups you can get added. They have a little counter to get napkins, and sugar or creamer for your coffee. They have a cooler of drinks with milk, orange juice, water, sports drinks and soda. They have 3 tables and a bar area. We went in December and their Christmas decor was so cute! We appreciate how clean and organized the place was. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend for either taking donuts to go or even getting one and eating it there.

It’s really unfortunate to see how much this place has gone downhill. The staff member on duty seemed uninformed—even struggling to provide basic information about the donut fillings—and came across as uninterested and unfriendly. On top of that, the donuts themselves tasted stale, as if they’d been sitting out for days. This used to be my go-to spot just a year ago, but sadly, it’s become a place I now avoid. Very frustrating to witness such a drop in both product quality and customer service.

We’ve had most of the donuts around KC (Duck, Dunkin, Daylight, DOP, etc) and these are the best. The girls are always nice and helpful and the donuts are soft and flavorful.

This place makes Krispy Kreme taste like plastic! Unbelievably good. I’ve tried at least 4 or 5 flavors and they were all amazing, melt in your mouth, just the right flavor and sweetness. Too bad I can’t get around there more often, hours could be better.

This place is not only a donut shop, but the customer service is awesome! The lady who served me was absolutely a joy to speak with. Not only that, the sprinkled cake donuts were the best I’ve had since I was a little boy! Anyone that loves donuts should be at this place and give them your business. How rare that you will find an old school donut shop that’s like a hole in the wall. Definitely returning!!

Donuts taste great, just always sold out before morning rush is over. Be nice if they made more to accommodate their customer or potential customer base. 4 out of the last 5 times I’ve gone they were closed early (before 10:00) because they didnt plan accordingly.

Best donuts in Olathe but they only seem to cater to early risers. By the time I got there at 9 to pick up 4 dozen donuts for the office they were completely sold Out. National donut day I was told from a young clerk with a big smile. Seems like bad planning to me, not the first time this has happened. So much for leaving profits on the table.

The last time I had come to this location it was a father and son working. They were awesome! Made me want to come back because customer service makes all the difference to me. I came back today and there was an older lady working behind the counter. I could tell immediately from just how she looked at me when I walked in that she was annoyed. I walk up and she said how can I help you. I said I would like a dozen donuts. She said “You want to tell me which ones? No glazed. We’re out.” Rude way of asking but ok. So I picked 2 pink ones. Then I said I will need 4 with sprinkles and before I could look at the sprinkle options she says, “Well you’re going to have to tell me which ones.” So I picked the 4 I wanted and told her just an assortment of the rest. She just seemed like she was in such a hurry and that I was an inconvenience. The donuts were good. I love KC Donut but I will go to a different location now. I’m between 2 locations and this one is on my way home from work. I’ll go the extra few miles from my house for better customer service. I hope she was just having an off morning. It’s a good place, but regardless of what you have going on, when you work around customers for a living, being kind and patient makes a difference to me. Being treated like I’m a person and not an annoying customer walking in making you have to do your job.

My first experience and it’s not a good one. Sunday morning and my boys bring home a cake donut for me. It was crusted hard on the bottom and dry on top. I went to exchange it within 15 minutes and they had closed up shop at 10am instead of noon. Clearly they gave out the last bad donut to them rather than toss it for quality control.
I won’t be back.
UPDATE:
I went in the next day and talked with the guy working. He took the donut, agreeing with the quality issue and actually replaced it with two before I even asked for one. That’s good customer service right there. The new donuts were really good and I will try them again in the future.
