Me and my family arrived to KC Buffet on a Sunday afternoon, it was packed and full of people. Food constantly rotated and everything tasted very fresh and flavorful.
I enjoyed the hibachi bar where I was able to select my own ingredients to make my own plate. Although nothing wowed me, the price is very reasonable for how much it costed me.

We’ve been here twice now. I don’t understand the low total review score, this place has been great for a buffet both times we’ve come. I particularly like the back portion where you can build your own bowl for them to cook. They are so generous with what you can put in (whole eggs, shrimp). This place has been clean both times we’ve come and the service has been good. Also it’s only $31 for two people for all you can eat which is pretty crazy cheap for these times.

Visited this establishment 3 times, the food is always the same. The Mongolian grill cook is always on point. I get the steak, broccoli, & onions & each time the cook prepares it just the way I like it. The food on the buffet is always hot & fresh. The different variety of American & Chinese dishes they offer are delicious. The waiters are real good about getting your empty plates off the table, & refilling your drinks. I like that they have ice-cream in individual containers with different flavors.

Was expecting a decent place to eat but that was quickly an incorrect assumption. Majority of the food is super bland or over sauced, they have this whole Mexican food bar but no meat(?) just tortillas, salsa, and flan. The turning point for me was when my son and I watched the guy refilling the bin of dumplings drop one of them on the floor, proceeded to pick it back up with tongs and place it nicely on top. I went back to my table and said ‘I’m gonna eat my chocolate pudding and leave’ and to my surprise there was something horribly hard and gross in the pudding. It also cost me $74 for my girlfriend and I and our two small kids. Outrageous. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

Staff pulled a portrait off the wall and dozens of roaches came scurrying out from behind it. No one cleared the table until we were finished leaving several plates scattered on top to maneuver around. And, lastly, a 10 year old is considered an adult for pricing!!! Don’t go, horrible horrible experience.

Wow this place has really gone downhill. The food tasted off, like really off. Everything just looked run down. The doors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months..even the fountain inside was a hot mess. Time to find a new Chinese restaurant I guess

The servers constantly getting the plates while we were eating. Felt rushed as we got the check really early and still eating. The servers kept staring at us waiting to leave. Everything about the service was really bad. This place used to be good.

Me and my family have came here for years and I’ve always thought the guy that runs the front could be a little more professional and inviting but we have kept going because my kids love it there but tonight after we spent $70 we were ready to go because I wasn’t feeling well and my 3 year old still wanted ice cream so we sent her over with my middle child to get it who apparently didn’t pay attention to some sign saying don’t take the ice cream out the building or something a long those lines but we had left but stopped at the gum-ball machine but needed more quarters so my middle child went back and asked for change and had her baby sisters ice cream in her hand and she came back and said the man at the front made her give it back and he took it back and put it back in the ice cream thing which one is infection control once it’s been touched but so I went back in to him and said “hey why did you take her ice cream” mind you I didn’t go over there when she got it so I didn’t seen the little sign but his response rude as hell “well did she not read the sign” while pointing back at it and im like “no my 3 year old didn’t read your sign and my middle one probably wasn’t Paying attention because she wouldn’t just ignore that sign and I said, but we just spent almost $70 in here and you’re tripping about a little ice cream for a three-year-old and I just had to walk away before it got any worse because we spend a lot of money in there, and I can understand the rules and we would follow them no problem but it was just how he responded and how rude he was about it! Other than that we have been there for years but I don’t know if we will any longer. And my 3 year old couldn’t understand why he took it but hey whatever lets him sleep better at night! Work on customer service!
