One of my top favorite katsu places in so cal. Everything seems fresh and the portions are huge. It’s located inside HMart. Plenty of parking. The staffs are nice and friendly. Usually there is a wait but you can order ahead with phone order to save some time. Will definitely be back. And there are other food spots around which makes it even better. There are some tables you can eat inside. The katsu is moist and crunchy and wasn’t dry. The sauce is also flavorful. Comes with sides and even soup. A local hidden gem for sure.

Love love coming to Kazu Mori for dinner. Their prices may seem a bit steep (average ~$17.5 for a plate) but their portions are HUGE. I always the chicken curry and its always more than enough to feed 2 people. The chicken curry plate comes with a generous portion of chicken katsu, rice, salad, soup, curry, and katsu sauce. I kinda wished they would give a little more rice but delicious flavors overall nonetheless.

We ordered the chicken curry meal (2). The other reviews i read had said the portions were big, but i was really surprised at just how big they were! O.O Huge portions!!! And very delicious!!! My bf ate his whole meal, fully satisfied, and i have enough to last me fir 2 more meals. Thank you, Kazu Mori, for the great dinner! *thumbs up!*

We love the Katsu here at Kazu Mori. We’ve been loyal customers since before the prices were in the “teens”. We accepted the price increases and kept on coming because the portions were unchanged. However, recently, I had to knock off one star because we noticed the portions are slowly getting thinner, a millimeter of thickness at a time. Probably not noticable to infrequent customers. However, for long-term customers it’s noticeable. Still, a good value for your money, as the portions are still bigger than the competition in the area. Will still frequent regardless.

Husband had the chicken katsu and it was so crispy and the curry was so yummy. Love the miso soup that came with the meal. The portions are big. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Located inside Hmart. A little bit pricey, almost $20 with the tax but it was worth it. Huge portions. The curry sauce tasted good. Overall, I highly recommend this place when you happen to go to the grocery and want to grab something quick. Ample of parking spots as it is located inside a grocery store. Also, not too much wait on weekdays during lunch hour.

This is a small, family owned and operated shop located inside the local H-Mart. I’m literally eating my food as I type this. It’s so freakin’ delicious and as of right now has become my go-to spot for chicken katsu. I’m so happy I could come by and support this small family owned business, especially during COVID when they need it the most. I can taste the love in the food. The chicken is thick and yet perfectly crispy on the outside, and the amount of food they give you for the cheap price is insane. The two people working today were so nice that they actually made my day. Thank you for such wholesome, yummy food, and the kindness I experienced today! I will be back!
