Small place but boy oh boy does it pack a punch. Such flavor and they also give large portions. The brisket is so tender so moist and flavorful. The baked beans were so good I wanted to take that tray in the kitchen and ask the cook to show me what he did to make them so good lol. Definitely an amazing place and the staff was great.

You can taste the quality of the meat, and the artfulnsmoking. Brisket wasn’t coated in too many sauces, I wager it was a simple salt and pepper rub that brought out the taste of the meat and the smoking.
Pulled pork was juicy, packed full of flavor.
Smoked chicken was also delicious.
Highly recommend Carolina, mustard and Alabama sauces.
Worth any detour to get here!

Stop here! Come in and get some amazing BBQ! The pulled pork was smoked perfectly, the cole slaw is come of the best I’ve had. The mac and cheese is definitely homemade and tastes delicous! The Alabama white, Carolina red, and hot bbq were very good and had a lot of flavor. The inside was very clean, well maintained, and the furniture really matched the theme.

whole lotta food for a great price. all the food overall was great but the brisket and pulled pork were a little too dry for my liking, though their flavor was great. same can’t be said about the drumsticks, cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. BBQ sauce is killer. considering they’re the one of two BBQ places around here really they’re definitely the best one.

This food was excellent! Our favorite BBQ restaurants are in Charleston, SC, and Cleveland, OH, and now Kaz’s is right up there with them! Everything was fresh and delicious. We can’t wait to go back! Don’t overlook it – some of the very best food in the Bridgeport area.

I got a brisket sandwich and it was SO GOOD!!! It was so tender and tasty. And there was a ton of meat on the sandwich! The Mac and Cheese was good. The banana pudding was really good, but no actual bananas in it. I would definitely recommend this place and definitely go back!

If you get to breath the same air as the owner, consider yourself blessed. Small and cozy, peaceful. Food was amazing! Even my grandma who doesn’t typically finish her food ate it all up. Would recommend the new York cheesecake, one person staff with rapid service, somehow. So much high quality food, and all handmade by the owner on the grill in the back. Will come back if I can! (Maybe tomorrow morning, as I’m on vacation here.)

The restaurant looks like a home. There is nothing to write hone about. The food was well worth the stop. I had a 1/4 lb of brisket and pulled pork piled high on a sandwich with green beans. The sandwich called Texan was delicious. The meat was so tender and melted in my mouth. The green beans were probably the best I’ve tasted in a beer long time. You will not be disappointed visiting Kaz in Clarksburg, WV. The meat is smoked on site.

Walking in, there was nobody else there. Usually, that is a bad sign. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meat! Very nice staff, generous portions for the price, lots of sauces to choose from. The corm bread looked to be very dry, but it was perfectly moist! My only critique is: more corn meal in the corn bread, dial back the spices in the beans and more tea in the sweet tea… I will definitely be going back!

Usually when I find something I like at a restaurant I stick with it. Generally I’m not a huge fan of brisket but the first time I went here I had the brisket sandwich and it was sooooo good. Melt in your mouth tender! The next time I went it was hard to stray from what I knew I loved but I was feeling like ribs. Fantastic! Had a pretty rough Friday today and was looking forward to Kazs BBQ all day. I decided to try the 1/2 chicken. I’m not sure that there is a bad choice here the chicken was delicious! Highly recommend to everyone. Always had very friendly and speedy service. Just a great bunch of people here. I always get the hot BBQ sauce and love it. Others I have been there with have tried the other sauces and I haven’t heard a bad thing yet! I give this place 7 out of 5 stars! Did i mention that the price for their food is more than reasonable for excellent bbq? My family has a bbq food truck and i know how much work goes into preparing this type of food. Always a great choice for lunch, dinner or both. Great job
