The staff is fully staffed, super friendly, and they even have a convenient self-ordering system if you prefer to use that. The portions are perfect, and the white sauce cups are actually a great size too!
So happy to support the owners and even happier to have this kind of food option just two minutes down the street. Thank you, Kazoku Express!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had staff taking orders at the register- but also had tablets that you could place your order on, which made ordering quick and easy. Will most definitely be back. If you want some top-tier hibachi, you need to stop by Kazoku Express in King!
EDITED TO ADD: After reading the establishments response to this review, it has most certainly deterred me from returning or recommending it for others to try. Your website has since been updated so that only one option can be chosen. However, while placing my order it allowed me to select multiple choices. I don’t recall seeing a “select one only” option, because the way you have it on your site now makes it kind of hard to miss. But hey, maybe I did miss it. Either way, giving customers the opportunity to select multiple leads them to believe they will be RECEIVING multiple. Next, I was NOT offered a free side of fried rice. The girl up front explicitly told me that she could “ring me up fora side of rice,” to which I said no, because I was not paying more. As for sauces, I ordered ginger dressing because it’s typically a khaki colored dressing served on salads at places like Arigatos and Kanpai. Even when you google ginger dressing, it comes up. “This is many more than other establishments usually provide” is a blatant lie, considering I can go to US Hibachi, order steak and rice, and receive FOUR sauces. Saying I was offered a free side of rice is also a blatant lie, because had that been true, I would have HAPPILY taken it. It’s really sad to see a new business try to manipulate all of their poor reviews. I won’t ever be returning, and I’ll be warning anyone who plans to of my experience.
From the other reviews of this place, I was expecting it to be extraordinary. Quite the opposite. I ordered a chicken plate with fried rice and paid extra to have noodles as well, or so I thought. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that I would have to pay for the fried rice if I wanted that as well. Kind of unfair because the online ordering is very misleading. I would never have paid $12 for chicken and noodles. Didn’t even get the correct sauce. Not to mention the food doesn’t even taste like hibachi at all. I hate to leave bad reviews on places I’ve only been once but this experience has prevented me from revisiting this establishment in the future. Won’t be returning as US Hibachi has much better food, prices, and service, and you get more than just one sauce with your order.
