I want to say I saw the previous reviews and read a good amount of them. I must say the salmon, didn’t taste like salmon. It had a real weird taste and look I doubt it was salmon.
It’s real tight in there. Also the presentation of my sushi seemed like a child was playing in it at first then served. It can be packed. Although I must say that lunch price is really good. I feel they should add a soup and salad for an extra $3. Overall if they can change a few things I would give 4.

I live directly across the street from this place and can walk to it in under 3 minutes. I want to like it badly. But it’s bad. Like really, really bad.
I eat a lot of sushi. At least once a week. I’ve been here 3 times and every time I am struck by just how low quality the fish is and how horribly the rice is made. The last time I got from here was when friends were visiting. We wound up throwing out half the sushi because we were so disgusted by it. At one point, I put a piece of tuna in my mouth…2 minutes later I realized I was still chewing the same piece of fish.
Like I said, if this place was at least decent, they would get a lot of business from me. But it’s bad…really bad.

Great shop that’s been around for a few years now. The sushi is quality and very reasonably priced. Service is excellent and the location is cosy. Lunch special is a secret steal. Hope to eat at Kaze in twenty, forty years to come.

Good prices and decent taste, but we came in 10 minutes before the lunch Special was supposed to end and the owner said “no more lunch special, only dinner price”. We ate in and asked for water and the said only bottles for sale. They don’t provide tap water to diners. Is that legal? They also wouldn’t come to our table at all. We had to go up to get menus, to order, to get our food etc…. Basically they are a take out place with tables.

Ordered takeout and the ribs could have been cook some more. The black beans and fries was good enough to fill me for lunch. Will give them another go and see how the other foods are.
