Chill Sushi and Thai spot that never misses. No frills, just amazing food and good vibes. The maki rolls are fresh and full of flavor, and the Thai noodles and curries always hit the spot. The Spicy Garlic Ramen is a must-try — seriously good. We had the Red Machine and Firecracker this time (both awesome), and the Godzilla, Volcano, and Don’t Make Me Cry on our last visit were just as great. Prices are super reasonable, service is always warm and quick. It’s a cozy place, so it can fill up fast during busy hours — but totally worth the wait.

I was meeting a friend for lunch. We found Kaze Sushi and Thai online. The menu looked great so we decided to give it a try. I was a little surprised to see that the restaurant shared a parking lot with a nail salon and 711. It was very nice to have a parking lot though, so no complaints. We ordered crispy calamari and takoyaki for appetizers, a Kaze salad (excellent), and the 8 of Spades (Eight piece nigiri chef’s choice and a salmon avocado roll). Everything was fresh and delicious. I don’t think it would be a romantic place to take a date, but it wasn’t bad to meet a friend. It would be a good choice for carry out too.

Kaze Sushi is a really charming, cozy spot that we often visit with our family. Even though it’s a small and intimate place, it always has a wonderfully warm atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and make us feel right at home. The food is served fairly quickly, always fresh, and beautifully presented. Plus, the owner is often there, and she always remembers us, which adds such a personal touch. Definitely one of our favorite sushi places around!

Don’t Make Me Cry – Ok. Too much rice and the tempura was fried too hard. It is not tempura.

I always enjoy going here. Their rice is somewhat sweet which gives the sushi very good flavor. The salmon is always fresh and the service is always good. The prices are also very reasonable. This is a little hidden gem in the north side of Chicago

I had read various positive reviews about this place, have been living in the area for a year and not yet tried it. My cousin happened to order take out and I enjoyed the dinner very much. I’m not very familiar with Thai food, but I am a cook and I can say that I enjoyed almost everything. Flavors were simple and distinguished. All seemed like a home cooked meal. I will definitely be returning, maybe to dine in. I’ve seen from the window and environment seems cozy, dimmed lights, definitely recommend giving it a try.

I have dined in before and service is immaculate. Ever since I have been ordering every time the craving for sushi arrives. It is always such a treat so tasty and they have never messed up my oder. We always end up ordering more than we can eat it is just that good.

I stay around the area and finally gave this a try. I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen and it was very good !! I have no doubt all the menu items are great. Glad to have them in the area.

I had such a wonderful dining experience at Kaze Sushi & Thai.
I ordered the ramen soup and the Godzilla sushi roll, and both were absolutely delicious. The ramen was rich and comforting, with a flavorful broth, tender noodles, and fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying. The Godzilla roll was a showstopper, beautifully plated, with a perfect balance of textures and flavors that left me wanting another order.
Overall, Kaze Sushi & Thai exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back.
