This incredibly delicious Kazakh food was completely new to us. We loved the variety of delicate flavors and textures, and fruit tea complemented everything perfectly. Everything was fresh and handmade. Our server was so nice and thoughtful. Ambiance was airy and inviting, with pleasant decor. 10/10, would go again! Дәмді тағам, рақмет! [Delicious food, thank you!]

Really nice experience for some central Asian dishes. I recommend the Plov and manti. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. He also played a fun guessing game with us that was engaging and lighthearted.

The prices are fair and the was a good menu to select from. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

My husband and I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from friends. The overall atmosphere was quite pleasant, the interior was cozy, and the food was really delicious. We ordered soups, main dishes, and a drink (whiskey with ginger ale).

The soups were served quickly, but we had to wait longer than expected for the main courses. There was also an issue with the drink: instead of whiskey with ginger ale, we were first served just whiskey, then a glass of plain water, and afterward a carafe of water with pieces of ginger floating in it. At that point, I simply asked for a Sprite instead.

Unfortunately, the service was not very attentive and seemed overwhelmed. Also, keep in mind that the tip is already included in the bill.

I do not want to damage the rating of this place — it’s clear that the team is trying and puts effort into what they do, and I respect that. We left an additional tip on top of what was already included. I’m writing this review in the hope that the restaurant will learn from these experiences and continue to improve.

Wishing the team growth and success ❤️

The food here is excellent and the interior is beautiful. The staff is friendly, but wait times can be long if you have a large party. I came with a group of 6 and all of our dishes came out at different times. The food was still worth the wait.

My favorite items were the khachapuri, bozo lagman and manty dumplings. The fruit tea is also definitely worth a try.

This place has a human touch. It’s tasteful and elegant without being pretentious. Pricing was good especially for the quality of the ingredients. My ceasar salad was done perfectly, cut the lettuce and croutons for ease with bites and the chicken was higher quality ave cooked perfectly. Best part was the honey cake!!!! Definitely get the honey cake if you come here!!!! Our server, Mia,was very nice and timed the meal well. They also had live music and a nice family atmosphere, very enjoyable experience.

What a beautiful restaurant. I was staying nearby to do some business, and thought I would stop in after seeing the reviews online. The food was just amazing, the service was great, and the restaurant is lovely. Prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. Extremely. Special thanks to my server, Mia. Дякую.

(FIVE STARS )
My recent dining experience at your establishment was exceptional, exceeding all expectations. The culinary presentation, as depicted in online searches, was indeed a true reflection of the exquisite flavors we encountered. As first-time patrons of a Kazakh restaurant, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the remarkable depth and complexity of your cuisine. Each dish presented a symphony of tastes, prompting an emotional response with every bite. The fish, in particular, was a revelation, delivering an unexpected burst of delightful flavors. Based on the extraordinary taste alone, I wholeheartedly award this restaurant a five-star rating.

Should you suspect this review was generated by an automated system, I invite you to consult my Google reviews, which will confirm my authenticity. If you are seeking an alternative to your usual dining establishments, I highly recommend Kazan Restaurant, as it promises a delightful culinary experience, your taste buds will thank you.

Items ordered: Kazan Special Wild Salmon & Beef Shashlik.
We extend our gratitude to Lillian and her team for providing us with an exceptional culinary tour of Kazakhstan.

Went on a late night Sunday, it was quiet, service was quick. The food was great, plenty of flavors and textures. The Shorpo soup (lamb) was delicious, plov had a great flavor combination, same as the beef with potatoes. Would like to go back!

Nice place to have a dinner
Plov and Shawarma are really tasty, 10/10! Khachapuri 7/10; Chicken Shashlyk – 9/10, would’ve been 10 if roasted on a wood-fired grill.

Although the “Open” sign outside is really destructive, It flashes very intensely, this light is visible inside and it’s infuriating.

We came for lunch on a Sunday. We asked to see the menu when we arrived, but wasn’t told then that they didn’t have everything on the menu available. The atmosphere is pleasant and the menu is nice. There was only one front staff working, so after waiting 15 minutes to order, we learned they didn’t have several items available. We ordered the shorpo, boro lagman, manty, hachapuri, and chicken shawarma. The food was excellent, although each dish was brought out as it was ready, in total it took about 10 minutes to get our first dish and 25 minutes to get our last dish. Their hachapuri was smaller and uses different cheeses than what I’ve tried before, I liked it but my wife did not. This was my first time trying shorpo and it had a rich broth and a lot of meat, though I would have liked more vegetables. Definitely worth trying.
